Live in Denmark 1972 is a live album by English hard rock band Deep Purple, recorded 1 March 1972 at the K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark, released in 2007.
The album is the Copenhagen video soundtrack of the Live in Concert 72/73 DVD.
This is one of five Deep Purple concerts released from the tours in 1972, and the only one to feature "Fireball", which was substituted with "Smoke on the Water" one week later (see Deep Purple in Concert ).

Fireball is the fifth album by English rock band Deep Purple, released in 1971 and the second with the Mk II line-up. It was recorded at various times between September 1970 and June 1971. It became the first of the band's three UK No. 1 albums, though it did not stay on the charts as long as its predecessor, Deep Purple in Rock. Even though the album has sold over a million copies in the UK, it has never received a certification there.

It was recorded in KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1972, but not released until 1987 in Japan, under the title Machine Head Live 1972, and in Europe three years later under the title Scandinavian Nights .
Perks & Tit is a live album released by Deep Purple, recorded at the San Diego Sports Arena on 9 April 1974 during the band's U.S tour in support of Burn. It was released in 2004 in celebration of its 30th anniversary and 29 years after this incarnation of the group dissolved. The album was made officially available by Purple Records and the Deep Purple Appreciation Society (DPAS) for a limited time through its Sonic Zoom imprint, although many bootlegs of the show had circulated for years.

The Deep Purple European Tour was a year-long successful concert tour by British hard rock band Deep Purple, lasting from July 1969 until June 1970. The band played mostly United Kingdom shows, also covering West Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. It was the first tour to feature the classic Deep Purple line-up: Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord and Ian Paice. It is considered to be the pre-tour for the In Rock album, as the band mostly played songs from the upcoming album.
