Operator Please were an Australian pop band, originating in the Gold Coast, Queensland in 2005. Their final line-up consisted of vocalist and guitarist Amandah Wilkinson, drummer Tim Commandeur, keyboardist Chris Holland, bassist Ashley McConnell and violinist Taylor Henderson.

Yes Yes Vindictive is the debut studio album from Australian indie rock/pop punk band, Operator Please. It was released on 10 November 2007, and on 17 March 2008 in the UK under Virgin/EMI. The album features the singles "Just a Song About Ping Pong", "Get What You Want", "Leave It Alone" and the final single "Two for My Seconds". The album was recorded in the Grove Studios on the New South Wales Central Coast with UK producer Simon Barnicott. It debuted and peaked at No. 28 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart before leaving the top 50 the next week. Its follow-up, Gloves, was released in 2010.

"Two for My Seconds" is a song by Operator Please and is the fourth single released from their debut album, Yes Yes Vindictive. The song was co-written by frontwoman Amandah Wilkinson and keyboardist Sarah Gardiner about the band's first violinist, Steph, and her unfriendly departure from the band. Ironically, this was Sarah Gardiner's last single to make. The cover of the single has a picture of a piano on it as a tribute to Sarah.
"Invaders Must Die" is the eighteenth single released by the British electronic band the Prodigy. It was released from the band's website as a free digital download on 26 November 2008. It was the first single from the album Invaders Must Die. The download was announced on 24 November, in a newsletter sent to fans, and first aired on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show as his 'Hottest Record in the World' on 26 November. The song was co-produced by Does It Offend You, Yeah?'s James Rushent. Liam Howlett described this to the Dubai edition of Time Out as: "a very abrasive-sounding electronic track, kind of different to anything we've done before." Although not being a commercial single the track charted at 49 in the UK Singles Chart on 1 March 2009, whilst the Chase & Status Remix reached 53 in the Australian Aria Singles Chart and 7 in the Aria Dance Chart. On 30 November 2009 the re-amped version by Liam was released as an EP with the B-side Mescaline, and Thunder remixes.
"Jump in the Pool" is the second single by Friendly Fires taken from the band's self-titled debut album Friendly Fires. It was first made available as a single on iTunes on 1 September 2008, the same day the album was released, along with a promotional video. There was also a hand numbered, one sided white label 7". It was released as a 12" vinyl and a download EP on 18 May 2009. It is the theme tune to the BBC's Final Score for the 2009/10 Football Season. Australian singer Lenka also recorded a cover for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, which was then put on the album "Live Lounge 4". The lead single "Logic" was released on 16 February 2010. The video for the second single "Back and Forth" was released on 22 April 2010. Gloves debuted at #20 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart on 3 May 2010. The next week it dropped to #46.

The discography of British singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin, consists of three studio albums, seven extended plays, three live albums and thirteen singles. Her first release was the 5-track Acoustic EP which was released on the iTunes Store on 13 September 2010. Her second EP Never Fade was released on 9 May 2011 and saw Aplin expand her sound, showcasing a more folk rock sound and playing all instruments herself. In April 2011, Aplin was invited to perform for BBC Introducing at Maida Vale Studios, where she played 3 tracks from Never Fade and a cover of the Coldplay song "Fix You".
