Love Island is a studio album by Brazilian keyboardist Eumir Deodato, released in 1978 on Warner Bros. Records. [2] The album reached No. 9 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, [3] but just No. 100 on the Canadian charts. [4] "Whistle Bump" shared No. 1 on the Canadian 'Dance/Urban' charts, June 17, 1978. [5]
Ernie Santosuosso noted "Love Island" and "Tahiti Hut" as the best tracks lauding "George Benson's tumbling-noted guitar cameo" and the"intriguing bass figures played by Pops Popwell" as "frilled by Deodato's vocalanger (voice) effects" on "Love Island", the title track, and "Deodato's subdued vocalise" and "simple melodic statement by trombonists Sam Burtis and Wayne Andre" on "Tahiti Hut", the latter, calling the others "a rather anonymous lot". Eumir Deodato de Almeida is a Brazilian pianist, composer, arranger and record producer, primarily in jazz but who has been known for his eclectic melding of genres, such as pop, rock, disco, rhythm and blues, classical, Latin and bossa nova.
All 'n All is the eighth studio album by the American band Earth, Wind & Fire, released in November 1977 by Columbia Records. The album peaked at No. 1 on the US BillboardTop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. All 'n All has also been certified Triple Platinum in the US by the RIAA, Gold in Canada by Music Canada and Silver in the UK by the BPI.

Coming to prominence in the late 1960s as a member of the Brazilian ensemble Quarteto Novo, he moved to the United States and worked in jazz fusion with Miles Davis, Return to Forever, Weather Report and Santana.
"Believe" is a song by the American singer Cher, from her 22nd studio album, Believe (1998). It was released as the lead single on October 19, 1998, by Warner Bros. Records. After circulating for months, a demo written by Brian Higgins, Matthew Gray, Stuart McLennen and Timothy Powell, was submitted to Warner's chairman, Rob Dickins, while he was scouting for songs to include on Cher's new album. Aside from the chorus, Dickins was not impressed by the track so he enlisted two more writers, Steve Torch and Paul Barry to complete it. Cher contributed some lyrics but received no songwriting credit. Recording took place at Dreamhouse Studio in West London, while production was handled by Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling.
Deodato 2 is a 1973 album by Brazilian keyboardist Eumir Deodato. It features noted session guitarist John Tropea on 4 tracks and virtuoso bassist Stanley Clarke on one song, "Skyscrapers". His version of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" was used in Pontiac commercials during the early-1970s. The song reached #48 in Canada in 1973.

Released in January 1990 as the second single from her first album, Jane Child, the single went to number 2 for three consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 from April 14 to April 28, 1990. In addition, a new jack swing remix of the song was produced by Teddy Riley and reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart and number 11 on the Billboard Dance Club Play chart.

Prelude is the eighth studio album by Brazilian keyboardist Eumir Deodato, released in 1973. With the signature track "Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001)", Prelude also features one of the most heavily sampled drum breaks in the early hip hop cannon. The opening bars of September 13 features a legendary break beat used in many classic hip hop songs. The album can be categorised as classical-jazz fusion, thought by some as elevator music with a twist. Prelude would become the most successful recording for Deodato and CTI Records.

It is a heavily jazz-funk styled rendition of the introduction from the Richard Strauss composition Also sprach Zarathustra. The "(2001)" mentioned is a reference to the soundtrack for the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The song, which featured vocals by Camille and was written by Rick Suchow and Alan Palanker, reached the Billboard Top 20 Dance Chart and stayed on for 14 weeks in 1985. It also entered the Top 10 Pop chart in France and Holland and achieved number one on the dance chart in Holland. The album was re-issued in 2006 by Wounded Bird Records.
Camille Filfiley, known professionally as Camille, is an American singer best known for her recordings with Eumir Deodato and her prominence in the early 1990s freestyle music and dance music genres.
"Miss Chatelaine" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter k.d. lang, released in 1992 by Sire and Warner Bros. as the second single from her second solo album, Ingénue (1992). Lang co-wrote the song with Ben Mink, and it was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, one year after her win in the same category for "Constant Craving". The title refers to the Canadian magazine Chatelaine, which named lang Woman of the Year in 1988. The accompanying music video was directed by American photographer and director Rocky Schenck.

The album contained Gayle's major hit singles while recording for the latter label between 1982 and 1986. She would depart from Warner Bros. the following year.
"Nights Are Forever Without You" is a song written by Parker McGee and first recorded by the soft rock duo England Dan & John Ford Coley. It was released as the second single from their 1976 album Nights Are Forever, following up on their top 10 hit "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight".
