Love Punch is the debut album by Ai Otsuka released on 31 March 2004 under the Avex Trax record label. This album was released in two formats:a CD Only version and a CD+DVD version. [1] The CD+DVD edition comes with a DVD containing promo clips and interviews. Initial pressings contained a limited edition picture book. The album reached #3 on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for a total of 98 weeks. [2] Because the album sold 519,300 copies in 2004,it became the #20 most popular album of 2004. However,it also charted on the 2005 end-of-year charts at #94 as it sold 159,025 copies in that year as well. In total,this album has sold 698,277 units. [3]

Akina Nakamori is a Japanese singer and actress. She is one of the most popular and best-selling artists in Japan. Akina achieved national recognition after winning the 1981 season of the talent show Star Tanjō!. Her debut single "Slow Motion" was released to moderate success, peaking at number thirty on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Nakamori's popularity increased with the release of her follow-up single, "Shōjo A", which peaked at number five on the Oricon charts and sold over 390,000 copies. Shuffle! is a Japanese visual novel developed by Navel. It was originally released as an adult game for Windows on January 30, 2004. It was subsequently followed by an all-ages release for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and an expanded adult release for Windows. The Windows version was localized in English by MangaGamer in 2009, and the PS2 version was localized in English by YumeHaven in 2016 on Steam. The gameplay in Shuffle! follows a branching plot line that offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction and focuses on the appeal of the female main characters. Shuffle! has been re-made into an expanded version called Shuffle! Essence+. It has expanded routes for the original five main heroines and new routes for six other characters. Shuffle! also has three spin-off sequels: Tick! Tack!, Really? Really! and Shuffle! Love Rainbow.
Ami Suzuki is a Japanese recording artist, DJ, and actress from Zama, Kanagawa, Japan. Having been discovered at the talent TV show Asayan, she was one of the most popular female teen idols in the late 1990s. However, in 2000, Suzuki faced legal problems with her management company resulting in a controversial blacklisting from the entertainment industry. Suzuki attempted to resurrect her career under her own steam with two indie singles before signing to Avex Trax in 2005. She released "Delightful", a dance song that reached No. 3 on the Japanese Oricon charts with a style similar to electronic club music, significantly different from her pop idol days. Since her appearance in the 2006 film Rainbow Song, Suzuki has gradually made a name for herself in the acting field, starring in various movies, television series, and musicals.
Love Letter is the fifth full-length studio album originally released by Japanese solo artist Gackt on February 14, 2005 in Japan. The first-press of the CD Only edition came with an 80-page illustration book drawn by Ai Otsuka herself. The album hit #30 in 2005, selling 414,513 copies. In total, the album has sold about 656,708 copies.
"Planetarium" is Ai Otsuka's tenth single, which was released on 21 September 2005. The single had great success and became Otsuka's second #1 hit on the Oricon charts, selling 316,425 copies. In 2005, Planetarium sold 215,114 copies, making it the #41 best-selling single of the year. However, it still charted into the next year and was the #99 best-selling single in 2006, selling 100,555 copies. Planetarium is her second best-selling single after "Sakuranbo."

"Ai am Best" is the first "best of" compilation album by Ai Otsuka. The album contains 13 pre-2006 tracks with the respective music video for each. "Ai am Best" was released on March 28, 2007. The title of the album is a pun on her first name, Ai, which is pronounced like the English word "I".
