Lubambo Musonda (born 1 March 1995) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Danish Superliga club Silkeborg IF, on loan from AC Horsens, and the Zambia national team.

Club career

Musonda has played for National Assembly, Power Dynamos and Ulisses. [2]

Following the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Musonda went on trial with FC Aktobe. [3]

In August 2015 Musonda signed for Gandzasar Kapan. [4] [5] [6] [7]

On 19 January 2019, Śląsk Wrocław announced the signing of Musonda on a one-and-a-half year contract, with the option to extend the contract for two additional years. [8] After two and a half years in Poland, Musonda joined Danish 1st Division club AC Horsens on 16 August 2021, signing a deal until June 2024. [9] In August 2023, Musonda joined Silkeborg IF on a one-year loan deal. [10]

International career

At the youth level he played in the 2015 African U-20 Championship, [11] scoring against Mozambique in its qualifiers, and the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations. [1]

Musonda made his senior international debut for Zambia in 2014. [2] In December 2014 he was named as part of Zambia's preliminary squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. [12]

Mary-Anne Musonda is a Zimbabwean cricketer and the current captain of the women's national cricket team. She is a right-handed batter and an off-beak bowler. She also has a master's degree in Development Finance from the University of Cape Town.

The 2017–18 season was Alashkert's sixth season in the Armenian Premier League and eleventh overall. Alashkert were defending Premier League champions, having won the title the previous season. Domestically, Alashkert finished the season as Champions for the third season in a row, six-points ahead of second placed Banants, whilst they were beaten in the final of the Armenian Cup by Gandzasar Kapan on penalties. In Europe, Alashkert reached the Second qualifying round of the Champions League for the second season in a row, where they were knocked out by BATE Borisov.

Sylvester Musonda is a Zambian footballer. He played in one match, scoring two goals, for the Zambia national football team in 1997. He was also named in Zambia's squad for the 1998 African Cup of Nations tournament.

Bilton Musonda is a Zambian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He played in six matches for the Zambia national football team in 1995 and 1996. He was also named in Zambia's squad for the 1996 African Cup of Nations tournament. At club level, Musonda played in the Zambia Super League for Mufulira Wanderers and Green Buffaloes.
