Lubinella is a genus of spiders in the family Uloboridae. It was first described in 1984 by Opell. [2] This genus was named after arachnologist Yael D. Lubin. [3] As of 2017, it contains only one species, Lubinella morobensis, from New Guinea. [1]

Galiano worked at the Bernardino Rivadavia Natural Sciences Museum in Buenos Aires. She died in an accident on October 30, 2000. The genera Galianora and Galianoella are named in her honor.

Waitkera is a genus of spiders in the family Uloboridae. It was first described in 1979 by Opell. As of 2021, it contains only one species, Waitkera waitakerensis, found in New Zealand.

Chatzakia is a genus of spiders in the family Gnaphosidae. It was first described in 2016 by Lissner & Bosmans. This genus was named in honour of the Greek arachnologist Maria Chatzaki. As of 2017, it contains only one species, Chatzakia balearica, found on the Balearic Islands.

Christa Laetitia Deeleman-Reinhold is a Dutch arachnologist. She specializes in spiders from Southeast Asia and Southern Europe, particularly cave-dwelling and tropical spiders. She donated a collection of about 25,000 Southeast Asian spiders, the largest collection of Southeast Asian spiders in existence, to the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden. In addition to numerous articles, she has written the book Forest Spiders of South East Asia (2001).

Katya is a genus of Southeast Asian jumping spiders first described by Jerzy Prószyński & Christa Deeleman-Reinhold in 2010. As of April 2019 it contains only three species. This genus is named after the Uzbek arachnologist Ekaterina Andreeva.
