Lucilla Boari (born 24 March 1997) is an Italian recurve archer who has represented Italy at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She has additionally competed for her country at the 2018 Mediterranean Games and the 2019 European Games, in which she won an individual gold and silver medal, respectively.
Boari secured two qualification spots for her country in the final world qualification tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics, delivering the shot that claimed victory over Chinese Taipei to give Italy a full Olympic berth of three archers. Boari was subsequently chosen as part of the Italian squad alongside fellow Olympic debutants Claudia Mandia and Guendalina Sartori in July 2016. [1]
At the Olympic Games the following month, Boari competed in the women's individual and women's team events. With teammates Mandia and Sartori, Boari successfully progressed to the semi-finals in the women's team competition, defeating the Brazilian and Chinese teams before losing to Russia. In the bronze medal match their opponents Chinese Taipei were too strong, and the Italian trio finished the competition in fourth place. [2] Boari was however much less successful in the individual tournament, and after placing seventh in the ranking round lost to Australia's Alice Ingley in the opening elimination round. [3]
In June 2018, Boari won gold medal in the women's individual event at the Mediterranean Games, defeating the Spain's Mónica Galisteo Cruz in the final. [4] The following year she competed in the European Games, where in the women's individual event she achieved the sixth seed in the 72-arrow ranking round before advancing through the elimination rounds to the gold medal final. She was defeated in the final by compatriot Tatiana Andreoli, earning the silver medal as runner-up. [5]
In 2021, she won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the women's individual event. [6] At the same time, she came out as lesbian, revealing that Dutch archer Sanne de Laat is her girlfriend. [7]
Naomi Anne Folkard is a British archer who has represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games five times between 2004 and 2020. She has also represented Great Britain at the World Archery Championships and the Archery World Cup, and England at the Commonwealth Games.
Ana María Rendón Martínez is a Colombian recurve archer. She has competed in the Olympic Games three times and is a two-time gold medalist at the Pan American Games.
Mariana Avitia Martínez is a Mexican recurve archer. She was the first Mexican to win an Olympic medal in archery after taking bronze in the women's individual event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is also the youngest Mexican athlete to compete in two Olympic Games, contesting both the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2010 Summer Youth Olympics by the age of seventeen.
The girls' individual archery event at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 18 to 20 August 2010 at the Kallang Field in Kallang, Singapore. It was one of three recurve archery events which comprised the archery programme at the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics, and featured thirty-one archers from thirty-one countries. Entry was open to female archers born between 1 January 1992 and 31 December 1993.
San Marino competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, which was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its thirteenth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its début at the 1960 Summer Olympics. The delegation sent by the Sammarinese National Olympic Committee consisted of four athletes: sprinter Martina Pretelli, archer Emanuele Guidi, trap shooter Alessandra Perilli and short-distance swimmer Clelia Tini.
Guendalina Sartori is an Italian archer. A gold medalist at the World Archery Championships, European Games and the Mediterranean Games, she competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in fourth in the women's team event.
The women's individual archery event at the 2016 Summer Olympics was held from 5 to 13 August at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of four archery events as part of the 2016 Olympic catalogue of sports, it was the fourteenth time a women's individual competition was contested as a discipline at the Olympic Games. Forty different nations qualified for the event, sending a total of sixty-four archers to compete. The defending Olympic champion was Ki Bo-bae of South Korea.
The women's individual recurve competition at the 2015 European Games was held from 16 to 19 June 2015 at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. One of five events comprising the inaugural European Games' archery programme, it featured a total of 62 archers from 30 different nations.
David Pasqualucci is an Italian competitive archer. He won a silver medal in the men's team recurve at the 2015 World Championships, and also competed as a member of Italy's archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He currently trains under the tutelage of his coaches Fabio Pivari and Wietse van Alten, a Sydney 2000 Olympian from the Netherlands, for the Italian team, while shooting at the Tempio di Diana Archery Range in Rome.

Carolina Aguirre Giraldo is a Colombian recurve archer who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She made her international debut at the fourth stage of the 2015 Archery World Cup in Medellín, and was later selected as the third member of the Colombian Olympic archery team.
Gabriela Schloesser is a Mexican-born Dutch recurve archer from Tijuana who represented Mexico before 2016, and has represented the Netherlands since 2017. In 2021, Schloesser and Steve Wijler won the silver medal in the mixed team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Italy competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Italian athletes have appeared in every Summer Olympics edition of the modern era, with the disputed exception of the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis where one Italian may have participated.

Alice D'Amato is an Italian artistic gymnast. She represented Italy at the 2020 Olympic Games. She was a member of the teams that won bronze at the 2019 World Championships and gold at the 2022 European Championships. Individually she is the 2023 European champion, 2022 European silver medalist, and 2019 European bronze medalist and on the uneven bars. Additionally she is the 2023 European all-around bronze medalist. She is the twin sister of Asia D'Amato.
The women's individual recurve competition at the 2019 European Games was held from 21 to 26 June 2019 at the Olympic Sports Complex in Minsk, Belarus. It was the second time the event was held as part of the European Games archery programme. A total of 48 archers from 32 different nations entered the competition, with a maximum of three entries per country. The event offered one qualifying spot for the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics for any archer reaching the semi-finals from a nation that had not already qualified. The defending champion, Karina Winter of Germany, did not take part following her retirement from the sport.

One of eight archery events as part of the 2019 Pan American catalogue of sports, it was the eleventh time the women's individual recurve competition had been contested at the Games. Thirty-two archers from fourteen nations qualified for the event.

Vanessa Landi is an Italian archer competing in women's recurve events. Landi and Mauro Nespoli won the bronze medal in the mixed team recurve event at the 2019 World Archery Championships held in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Chiara Rebagliati is an Italian archer. She won the gold medal in the women's recurve event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. She competed in the women's individual, women's team and mixed team events at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She studied at University of Insubria.
