MTV Party To Go Volume 9 was the ninth album in the MTV Party To Go series. The album was certified gold on January 16, 1997, by the RIAA. [2]
MTV is an American pay television channel owned by Viacom Media Networks and headquartered in New York City. The channel was launched on August 1, 1981, and originally aired music videos as guided by television personalities known as "video jockeys" (VJs). At first, MTV's main target demographic was young adults, but today it is primarily teenagers, particularly high school and college students.

"La La" is a song by American singer Ashlee Simpson from her 2004 album, Autobiography. Two weeks after it became available as a digital download in mid-August 2004, it rose to No. 37 on Billboard's Hot Digital Tracks. In the U.S., it began its run as the album's third and final single on radio and television in November 2004; in the United Kingdom, a CD single was released in January 2005. The song's video was in heavy rotation on MTV by December 2004. In March 2005 the single was certified Gold, and in August the video was nominated for Best Pop Video on the MTV Video Music Awards.
"Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" is a song by American rapper Dr. Dre featuring fellow American rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg from Dre's debut solo album, The Chronic (1992). It is the first single from the album. "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 on March 20, 1993, behind "Informer" by Snow, outperforming The Chronic's other singles, "Fuck wit Dre Day ", which peaked at #8, and "Let Me Ride", which peaked at #34. The single also reached #1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, and was a hit in the UK, where it reached #31.
"Let Me Ride" is a 1993 single by rapper and producer Dr. Dre, and the third single from his debut studio album, The Chronic. It experienced moderate success on the charts, until it became a massive hit when Dre won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance for the song during the Grammy Awards of 1994. The chorus is sung by Ruben and Jewell, and Snoop Dogg raps the line "Rollin' in my 6-4" and appears in some background vocals.
"This Is Me" is a song by American girl group Dream. It was released on May 1, 2001 as the second single off their debut album It Was All a Dream (2001). It was written in 2000 by Steve Kipner, David Frank and Pamela Sheyne, the same team that wrote their debut single "He Loves U Not".
Let's Get It Started is the second studio album by hip hop emcee M.C. Hammer. The album went double platinum with "Pump It Up", "Let's Get It Started", "Turn This Mutha Out" and "They Put Me in the Mix" as the most popular tracks from this album. Music videos were also produced for all of these songs. The album topped the R&B charts and peaked at #30 on the Billboard 200. It was #1 on the US R&B charts.

It was released in June 12, 2000 as the second single in the United States and third in Europe from their second studio album No Strings Attached. It is the band's first song release that did not include the exclamation mark at the end of the "Panic" in the group's name, and was also the first song written for the album. The video was filmed on December 20 and December 21, 2007. It was the first song written after the band decided to scrap an entire album of songs that the members had been planning to release in the autumn of 2007. Panic at the Disco's first performance of "Nine in the Afternoon" was at Virgin Festival 2007. The song has undergone changes in key and lyrics since first being performed. This song was number 44 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2008.
