The MTV Video Music Award for Best Album is a recent award given at the annual MTV Video Music Awards. It was first introduced at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards as Album of the Year, making this the first time that the ceremony has recognized albums in the award-giving categories. The award was not presented in 2024 and was reintroduced in 2025 under its current name.
