Macquarie Correctional Centre, an Australian maximum security prison for males, is located in Wellington, New South Wales, Australia, 360 kilometres (220 mi) west of Sydney. The facility is operated by Corrective Services NSW, an agency of the Department of Communities and Justice, of the Government of New South Wales. The Centre accepts sentenced prisoners under New South Wales and/or Commonwealth legislation.

The facility is made up of 14 buildings (primarily single storey) and has three layers of fencing. There is more than 5 km of secure fencing and over 600 security cameras. The centre was completed in just 54 weeks. [2] It is located next to the larger Wellington Correctional Centre that has 750 beds.

Clarence Correctional Centre is a minimum- and maximum-security prison for men and women located near Grafton, New South Wales, Australia. It holds inmates sentenced under State or Australian criminal law. It has 1,700 beds, making it the largest prison in Australia. It is operated by Serco. The prison opened on 25 July 2020. The project was delivered by the NSW Government in partnership with the NorthernPathways consortium consisting of John Holland, Serco, John Laing and Macquarie Capital. Pedavoli Architects designed and delivered the Clarence Correctional Centre in Grafton. It is located 20 kilometres away from the old Grafton Correctional Centre, which it replaced.
