S. Krishnamoorthy (born 19 October 1953) professionally known as Madhan Bob, is an Indian actor and comedian, appearing in many Tamil films in supporting roles. Madhan Bob is known for his amusing facial expressions, laughter and protruding eyeballs, which he took inspiration from Kaka Radhakrishnan. [1] He appeared in the popular Sun TV comedy show Asatha Povathu Yaaru? as one of the judges.
Madhan Bob ventured into the film industry by donning the role of a musician in 1985. His stage name Madhan Bob came from Madhan, the name he was called by, and Babu was his brother's name. [2] While working as a musician for jingles, A. R. Rahman was his assistant. [3]
