Jalandhar lies alongside the historical Grand Trunk Road and is a well-connected junction for both rail and road networks. The National Highway 1 (NH1), crosses Jalandhar, further enhancing its connectivity.
Etawah, also known as Ishtikapuri, is a city on the banks of Yamuna River in the state of Western Uttar Pradesh in India. It is the administrative headquarters of Etawah District. Etawah's population of 256,838 makes it the 180th most populous city in India. The city lies 300 km (190 mi) southeast of the national capital New Delhi, 230 km (140 mi) northwest of the state capital Lucknow, 120 km east of Agra and 140 km west of Kanpur. The city was an important centre for the Indian Rebellion of 1857. It is also the sangam or confluence of the Yamuna and Chambal rivers. It is the 26th most populous city in Uttar Pradesh. Farmers not only from Punjab, but also from neighbouring states such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, etc., travel to the PAU campus to buy high-quality seeds, farm equipment and gain knowledge on new agricultural technologies in the two-day main fair event. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the university 3rd in its agriculture and allied sectors ranking 2024.

It has a seating capacity of 43,000 people and has one of the largest scoreboard displays for a cricket stadium in India. There is an All-weather Swimming Pool, Athletics Stadium and an Indoor Stadium in the campus of the Sports College along with this cricket stadium. It was inaugurated on 1 June 2018, along with the Etawah Safari Park and Abhinav Vidyalaya, Saifai at a function in Etawah city.
