Hyderabad is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Telangana. It occupies 650 km2 (250 sq mi) on the Deccan Plateau along the banks of the Musi River, in the northern part of Southern India. With an average altitude of 542 m (1,778 ft), much of Hyderabad is situated on hilly terrain around artificial lakes, including the Hussain Sagar lake, predating the city's founding, in the north of the city centre. According to the 2011 census of India, Hyderabad is the fourth-most populous city in India with a population of 6.9 million residents within the city limits, and has a population of 9.7 million residents in the metropolitan region, making it the sixth-most populous metropolitan area in India. With an output of US$74 billion, Hyderabad has the fifth-largest urban economy in India.
Telangana is a state in India situated in the southern-central part of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. It was the eleventh largest state and the twelfth most populated state in India as per the 2011 census. On 2 June 2014, the area was separated from the northwestern part of United Andhra Pradesh as the newly formed state of Telangana, with Hyderabad as its capital. Telugu, one of the classical languages of India, is the most widely spoken and the primary official language of the state.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad is a public university, located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Founded in 1965 as the Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College, it was established as a university in 1972 by The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972. The university is situated at Kukatpally Housing Board Region in Hyderabad of India.
Mahabubnagar district also known as Palamuru district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. Mahabubnagar is the district headquarters which is popularly known as Palamoor. The district shares boundaries with Narayanapet, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. The district was formed during the period of the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad State – Nawab Mir Mahbub Ali Khan and hence named after him.
Ranga Reddy district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Kongara Kalan Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal,. The district was named after the former deputy chief minister of the United Andhra Pradesh, K. V. Ranga Reddy. The district shares boundaries with Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Vikarabad districts.
Osmania Medical College, formerly known as Hyderabad Medical School, is a public medical college in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was founded in 1846 by the 5th Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, Afzal ud Dowla, Asaf Jah V. The college was originally affiliated to Osmania University system, now it is affiliated to the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, and the Osmania General Hospital. After the establishment of the Osmania University in 1919, the school was renamed Osmania Medical College, after the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan.

Hyderabad added two companies in unicorn startup list in first two months of 2022.
Marri Chenna Reddy was an Indian politician active in several states. He was the 6th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1980 and from 1989 to 1990. He also served as the governor of Uttar Pradesh (1974–1977), governor of Punjab (1982–1983), governor of Rajasthan from February 1992 to May 1993, and governor of Tamil Nadu from 1993 until his death. He was a leader of Indian National Congress Party.
Medchal is an outer suburb of Hyderabad in the Medchal–Malkajgiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is the mandal headquarters of Medchal mandal in Keesara revenue division of the district. It also forms a part of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. Chamakura Malla Reddy is the MLA of Medchal Assembly Constituency.
Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) is the parent college of the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, Hyderabad, Telangana, India founded by Ch Malla Reddy. The institute was established in 2002, as approved by the AICTE New Delhi, and was affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). In 2008, the college was accredited by NBA. It has also been certified by NAAC as an A-grade institution in the Hyderabad region. The college was granted permanent affiliation and autonomous status by JNTU in 2011.

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee or (TPCC) is the state unit of the Indian National Congress (INC) in the state of Telangana, India. It is responsible for organizing and coordinating the party's activities and campaigns within the state, as well as selecting candidates for local, state, and national elections. The current president of the Telangana PCC is Anumula Revanth Reddy. The committee has a long history of political influence in the united Andhra Pradesh state, however, it has however, it has historically faced challenges, including fluctuations in electoral support. However, following significant efforts in 2023, the TPCC regained political power in Telangana. With the INC now in government in Telangana, the committee is actively involved in governance and party affairs.
Chamakura Malla Reddy is an Indian politician served the Minister of Labour and Employment in Telangana, having assumed that office in 2019 to 2023. He is the Member of Legislative Assembly from Medchal Assembly constituency. His children are Mamatha Reddy, Mahender Reddy, and Dr. Bhadra Reddy. He was the Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Malkajgiri. He is a member of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He is an educationist and a businessman in Telangana state. He is the founder and chairman of numerous colleges and research institutes including Malla Reddy Health City, Malla Reddy Engineering College, and Malla Reddy University.
The Telangana Public Service Commission, chiefly, TGPSC is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Telangana according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.
Mudireddy Mahendar Reddy is the Chairman of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) and he was an Indian police Service officer (1986-batch) he was the 2nd and former Director general of police of Telangana since from 10 April 2018. He previously served as the first Police commissioner of Hyderabad after the formation of Telangana.
Andhra Pradesh, retrospectively referred to as United Andhra Pradesh, Undivided Andhra Pradesh, Combined Andhra Pradesh and Ummadi Andhra Pradesh, was a state in India formed by States Reorganisation Act, 1956 with Hyderabad as its capital and was reorganised by Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The state was made up of three distinct cultural regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra. Before the 1956 reorganisation, Telangana had been part of Hyderabad State, whereas Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra had been part of Andhra State, formerly a part of Madras Presidency ruled by British India.
Vijayawada–Hyderabad Expressway is a 247 km long, 4/6 lane wide tolled expressway that connects Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad in Telangana. It was opened for public in October 2012. The project was undertaken by concessionaire GMR Hyderabad Vijayawada Expressways Private Limited, a subsidiary of GMR Group on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis. It is one of the busiest expressways in India and is a part of National Highway 65, which connects Machilipatnam to Pune.
Gaddam Padmaja Reddy is an Indian Kuchipudi exponent and music teacher. She performs ballets on mythological themes and contemporary social issues. She choreographed Kakatiyam, a Kuchipudi visual dance form. She was conferred with Kala Ratna in 2006, India's highest art award–Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2015 and Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, in the field of art for 2022.
