Mamlah-ye Olya (Persian : مملح عليا‎, also Romanized as Mamlaḥ-ye ‘Olyā and Mamlah-ye ‘Olyā)^[1] is a village in Gharb-e Karun Rural District, in the Central District of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 60, in 11 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Gharb-e Karun Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,821, in 846 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

The District has two cities: Khorramshahr and Moqavemat. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Gharb-e Karun Rural District, Howmeh-ye Gharbi Rural District, and Howmeh-ye Sharqi Rural District.
