Mandakan (Persian : مندكان‎, also Romanized as Mandakān, Mandekān, Mandegān, and Mūndakān)^[1] is a village in Karimabad Rural District, Sharifabad District, Pakdasht County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 344, in 84 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Karimabad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sharifabad District, Pakdasht County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,325, in 1,780 families. The rural district has 13 villages.

Sharifabad District is a district (bakhsh) in Pakdasht County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 37,791, in 9,758 families. The District has one city: Sharifabad. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Jamalabad Rural District, Karimabad Rural District, and Sharifabad Rural District.
