Margo's Got Money Troubles is an upcoming American drama television series created by David E. Kelley, based on the 2024 novel by Rufi Thorpe. It stars Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman.
Margo's Got Money Troubles centers on Margo Millet, whose tumultuous journey unfolds as the daughter of a Hooters waitress and a former professional wrestler. After an affair with her junior college English professor leaves her pregnant, Margo turns to OnlyFans to support herself. Reconnecting with her estranged father, who shares wisdom gleaned from his wrestling days, Margo achieves remarkable success on OnlyFans. [1] [2]
In October 2023, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Nicole Kidman, along with siblings Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning, will also serve as executive producers for the adaptation of the 2024 novel Margo's Got Money Troubles. [6]
In February 2024, it was reported that Apple TV+ outbid several other companies, including Netflix, to secure the rights to the series based on Rufi Thorpe's forthcoming book. [1] [2] David E.
