Emma Jane Coburn is an American middle-distance runner who specializes in the 3000-meters steeplechase. She holds the distinction of being a world champion, world silver medalist, Olympic bronze medalist, three-time Olympian and 10-time US National Champion in the steeplechase.
Eilish McColgan is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games 10,000 metres champion with the Games record, and 5000 metres silver medallist. McColgan is a four-time European Championships medallist, winning silver medals for the 5000 m in 2018 and 10,000 m in 2022, bronze in the 5000 m in 2022, and a bronze for the indoor 3000 metres in 2017. Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal is a Norwegian middle-, long-distance and steeplechase runner. She won bronze medals in the 10,000 metres at the 2016 European Championships, and for the 3000 m steeplechase at the 2018 European Championships. Grøvdal earned several medals at the European Cross Country Championships.

Beatrice Chepkoech Sitonik is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in the 3000 metres steeplechase. She won gold medals at the 2019 World Championships, and 2018 African Championships. Chepkoech took also bronze in the 1500 metres at the 2015 African Games. She is the current world record holder in 3000 m steeplechase with a time of 8:44.32 set in 2018 in Monaco. With that mark she became the first woman to break the 8:50 and 8:45 barriers.
Soufiane El Bakkali is a Moroccan male runner specializing in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion, having previously finished fourth at the 2016 Rio Olympics. At the World Athletics Championships, El Bakkali won the gold medal in 2022, silver in 2017 and bronze in 2019. He also placed third at the 2019 African Games and second at the 2018 African Championships.
Luis Alberto Orta Millan is a Venezuelan long distance runner who specializes in the marathon. He competed in the men's marathon event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He currently holds two Venezuelan Records: one in the Half Marathon distance and in the 10 km (road).

Avinash Sable is an Indian track and field athlete who specializes in 3000 metres steeplechase. He holds the national record of 8:11.20, set at the 2022 Commonwealth Games where he won the silver medal. It was the ninth time he had set the national record.
Fernando Sérgio Rigor Silva is a Portuguese former long-distance runner who competed at distances from 3000 metres to the marathon. He represented his country in the marathon at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and the 2010 European Athletics Championships. He has also competed at four editions of the World Athletics Cross Country Championships and six editions of the European Cross Country Championships. He shared in a team bronze medal with the Portuguese men at the 2003 European Cross Country Championships. He was twice national champion at the Portuguese Cross Country Championships.
Martina Merlo is an Italian middle-distance runner and steeplechase runner.
Zita Kácser is a retired Hungarian Olympic distance runner. She also twice represented Hungary at the European Athletics Championships in the 3000 metres steeplechase. A twelve-time Hungarian champion overall, Kácser Zita won national titles twice over 3000m indoors as well as winning multiple titles outdoors. These came in the steeplechase, 5000m, 10,000m and the half-marathon.
