A hybrid vehicle uses two or more distinct types of power, such as internal combustion engine to drive an electric generator that powers an electric motor, e.g. in diesel-electric trains using diesel engines to drive an electric generator that powers an electric motor, and submarines that use diesels when surfaced and batteries when submerged. Other means to store energy include pressurized fluid in hydraulic hybrids.
The Tata Indica is a supermini car launched by the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors in 1998. It was the first passenger car from Tata Motors and it is also considered to have been India's first indigenously developed passenger car. As of August 2008, more than 910,000 units had been produced and the platform had spawned close to 1.2 million vehicles. Annual sales of Indica were as high as 144,690 units in 2006–07. As of July 2009, monthly sales of Indica were around 8000 units. The models were also exported to European and African countries from late 2004.. The car was discontinued in April 2018.

The Suzuki Wagon R is a kei car manufactured and marketed by Suzuki since 1993. The R in the name stands for Revolution and Relaxation. The Wagon R uses a "tall wagon" configuration to maximize cabin space within kei car dimensional restrictions.
The Suzuki Carry is a kei truck produced by the Japanese automaker Suzuki. The microvan version was originally called the Carry van until 1982 when the van was renamed as the Suzuki Every. In Japan, the Carry and Every are kei cars but the Suzuki Every Plus, the bigger version of Every, had a longer bonnet for safety purposes and a larger 1.3-liter 86 hp (63 kW) four-cylinder engine. It was launched in India by Maruti Suzuki as Maruti Zen Estilo in 2006, Maruti Zen Estilo was discontinued in 2009 and renamed as Maruti Estilo.

The Suzuki Kizashi is a mid-size car manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki. It was unveiled in the United States on July 30, 2009. The Kizashi went on sale in Japan on October 21, 2009, in North America on December 1, 2009, and in Australia and New Zealand on May 11, 2010. It is the first mid-size Suzuki automobile sold in the Australian market. In February 2011, the Kizashi became available to the Indian market. The car was also available on European markets. It is in competition with the prevalent minivans and vans from Maruti, Mahindra, Toyota, Chevrolet and Force Motors. Venture is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo diesel engine delivering 90 hp (67 kW) power, it is available in 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-seater arrangement. It comes with features such as dual heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), reverse parking sensor, power windows, keyless entry and power steering.
The Hyundai Eon, or Hyundai Atos Eon, is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai. It was launched on 13 October 2011 in India, March 2012 in the Philippines, June 2012 in Vietnam, and June 2014 in Sri Lanka. It is also sold in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Chile, Panama, and Colombia. The Eon is not officially sold in its home market, South Korea.
TVS Wego is a motor scooter manufactured by TVS Motor Company. It is a unisex, dual usage scooter and was introduced in 2010. After the releasing several variants of TVS Scooty, the company entered in the higher end segment of the scooterette market by introducing Wego.
