The album features appearances by RBD, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Héctor el Father, Tito El Bambino, Wisin & Yandel, Alexis & Fido, Zion, Magnate, Ñejo & Dalmata, Arcángel & De la Ghetto, and others. It also featured the work of 17-year-old producer Marco Masis, better known as Tainy.

"Noche de Entierro (Nuestro Amor)" (English: "Night to Bury (Our Love)") is a reggaeton song performed by artists Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Héctor el Father, Zion and Tony Tun Tun. The song was produced by Luny Tunes, Tainy and Doble A & Nales and written by Gabriel Padilla. The song was featured in Mas Flow: Los Benjamins and is one of the most successful songs in the history of the genre. It is usually seen as a sequel to "Mayor Que Yo". "Noche de Entierro" features music instruments like flute, accordion, guitar, bass and electronic keyboard.

Mas Flow is the debut compilation album by reggaeton producers Luny Tunes. Along with Tego Calderón's El Abayarde, also released in 2003, Mas Flow was the first reggaeton album to meet a mass audience. Monserrate and DJ Urba are reggaeton producers from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, respectively. They have been on the business for some years, but they really got a start when Daddy Yankee hired them to produce his Barrio Fino Album. Then they followed up with the Barrio Fino en Directo Album. They are aligned with Luny Tunes's Mas Flow Inc and Daddy Yankee's El Cartel Records.

Josías de la Cruz, known professionally as Nely el Arma Secreta, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton producer, introduced in the genre by Luny Tunes.

Aaron Pena, also known as Doble A, was born in the Dominican Republic, but raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Anthony Calo Cotto, or Nales, was born and raised in Virginia, U.S., before moving to Puerto Rico at age 15. Doble A & Nales, both from the Mas Flow production team, form the producing duo Los Presidentes.

The album ranked #5 on the Billboard year-end Latin Album Chart, #7 on the year-end Tropical Album Chart, and #9 on the Reggae Album Chart, for the year 2005. "Mayor Que Yo" won Reggaeton Song of the Year at the 2006 Latin Billboard Music Awards.
