Massilia alkalitolerans is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming bacterium from the genus Massilia and the family Oxalobacteraceae. [1] [2] [3] [4]
The genus Massilia is an outdated genus name of bacteria within the family Oxalobacteriaceae. All Massilia species were reclassified in 2023 into one of the following genera: Duganella, Pseudoduganella, Janthinobacterium,Telluria,Rugamonas,Mokoshia, or Zemynaea.
Naxibacter alkalitolerans is a chemo-organotrophic, catalase-positive, aerobic, and Gram-negative bacterium, which was isolated from a soil sample collected from Yunnan Province in China. Phylogenetic analyses have shown that it belongs to the Oxalobacteraceae.
Massilia aerilata is an aerobic, Gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile bacterium from the genus Massilia and the family Oxalobacteraceae which was isolated from air samples in the Suwon region of the Republic of Korea. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis have shown that it belongs to the genus of Massilia.
