Louise Arbour Secondary School is a high school located in Brampton, Ontario, operating under the Peel District School Board. It was established in 2010 to accommodate those who live in north Brampton between Sandalwood Heights Secondary School and Mayfield Secondary School. A social justice focus infuses all elements of the curriculum in order to support students to become socially responsible citizens of the world. The Lake was a Canadian comedy television series created by Julian Doucet for Amazon Prime Video. The series was Amazon's first scripted Canadian Amazon Original series, and premiered on June 17, 2022. In advance of the official series premiere, the first two episodes received a preview screening at the 2022 Inside Out Film and Video Festival. In July 2022, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on June 9, 2023. On January 6th, 2024, Jordan Gavaris announced The Lake was not renewed for a third season.
