Miab (Persian : مياب‎, also Romanized as Mīāb, Meyāb, and Mīyāb)^[1] is a village in Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District, in the Central District of Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 624, in 227 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,527, in 1,329 families. The rural district has 12 villages.

The District has four cities: Marand, Zonuz, Koshksaray, and Bonab Jadid.
