Miami Township is one of fourteen townships in Cass County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,311 (up from 1,292 at 2010 [4] ) and contained 571 housing units.
Miami Township was organized in 1831. [5] It was named after the Miami people who once inhabited the area. [6]
Miami Township covers an area of 20.34 square miles (52.7 km2); 0.28 square miles (0.73 km2) (1.38 percent) of this is water.
