Michael D. Smith is the John H. Finley,Jr. Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences in the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is also a Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor and served as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University from 2007 to 2018. In addition to his academic position,Smith was the Chief Scientist and co-founder of Liquid Machines,Inc.,a provider of enterprise rights management software. [1] [2] [3]
Smith completed his secondary education at the Peddie School in Hightstown,NJ. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University in 1983,his MS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1985,and his PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1993.

Cynthia Friend is president and chief operating officer of The Kavli Foundation. She is on leave from the department of chemistry and chemical biology at Harvard University. Friend was the first female full professor of chemistry at Harvard,attaining the position in 1989. Friend has held the Theodore William Richards Chiar in Chemistry and served as professor of materials science in the Paulson School of Engineering. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences,the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a fellow of the American Association of Arts and Sciences and the American Chemical Society. Her research has focused on nano-science applied to sustainability. Friend and her group have investigated the chemical and physical properties of interfaces,by investigating important catalytic reactions and by making new materials with key chemical functionality. Her lab aims to develop solutions to important problems in energy usage and environmental chemistry.
Claudine Gay is an American political scientist serving as the 30th president of Harvard University. Assuming office in 2023,she became the university's first black president 368 years after its founding.
Hanspeter Pfister is a Swiss computer scientist. He is the An Wang Professor of Computer Science at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Brain Science at Harvard University. His research in visual computing lies at the intersection of scientific visualization,information visualization,computer graphics,and computer vision and spans a wide range of topics,including biomedical image analysis and visualization,image and video analysis,and visual analytics in data science.

Francis "Frank" J. Doyle III is an American engineer and academic administrator. He is the dean of the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the John A. and Elizabeth S. Armstrong Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Doyle is also affiliated with the Division of Sleep Medicine of Harvard Medical School. On December 15,2022,it was announced that Doyle will serve as the 14th provost of Brown University starting in the 2023 academic year.
Michael John Aziz is an American research scientist and engineer and the Gene and Tracy Sykes Professor of Materials and Energy Technologies at the Harvard John A.
