Michael Robert Ryan (born 26 December 1941 in Bannockburn, Stirlingshire) is a former long-distance runner, who was born in Scotland. He won the bronze medal for New Zealand in the men's marathon at the 1968 Summer Olympics held in Mexico City, Mexico. In 1966 he won the famous Fukuoka Marathon in Japan with a time of 2:14:05.
Ryan was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
Rodney Phillip Dixon is a former New Zealand middle- to long-distance runner. He won the bronze medal in the 1500 metres at the 1972 Olympics in Munich, and in 1983 won the New York City Marathon.
Lorraine Mary Moller in Putāruru is a former athlete from New Zealand, who competed in track athletics and later specialised in the marathon. Moller's international career lasted over 20 years and included winning a silver medal in the marathon at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and a bronze medal in the marathon at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona at the age of 37. A four-time Olympian, she also completed the marathon at the 1984, 1988 and 1996 games.
