The Pakistan Navy (PN) is the naval branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces. It came into existence by transfer of personnel and equipment from the Royal Indian Navy that ceased to exist following the partition of India through a parliamentary act that established the birth of Pakistan and independence of India from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947.

Korangi Creek Cantonment or Korangi Cantonment is a cantonment town of the city of Karachi, in Sindh, Pakistan. It serves as a military base and residential establishment. It was established by the British Colonial Army in 19th-century British Raj and by Fort Wrigley. Currently, the former local seat of the British Wrigley-Pimley-McKerr family still stands. It was transferred to Pakistan Army after independence in 1947. The cantonment maintains its own infrastructure of water and electricity and is located outside the jurisdiction of the City District Government of Karachi.

Pakistan Air Force Airmen Academy Korangi Creek is "Home of Airmen". It was PAF Base which imparts only technical training to Aero Apprentices and training of non-technical trades was going on another PAF Bases, so PAF needed to train all Airmen at one place. In 2019, It was established as an Academy in which training of all trades is planned. It was a momentous occasion in the history of Pakistan Air Force, as the Air Chief laid the foundation stone of PAF Airmen Academy at PAF Base Korangi Creek Monday.
The PNS Qasim is a major marines base that serves as the headquarter of the Pakistan Marines for their administrative, operational and logistic requirements. PNS Qasim, the garrison of Pakistan Marines, is served as the logistic base for the Marines which is responsible for general administration and naval/military logistics requirements. The Pakistan Marines Corps structure is composed of five segments, and the PNS Qasim is part of the Eastern Naval Command of Pakistan Navy. The base is named after the legendary Muslim Arab general Muhammad bin Qasim who conquered Daybul and the coastal areas of Sindh around 712 CE.

The PNS Bahadur is the naval station and the largest operations training facility located in the urban neighborhood of Karsaz in Karachi that provides operations education on the subjects of Navigation, Radars warfare, Hyderography, Communication warfare, Surface warfare, Underwater Warfare, Weapons Training Section, and Information Technology warfare for the Navy's enlisted personnel upon their passing out from the PNS Himalaya— the Navy's only basic training boot camp in Manora Island in Karachi coast, Sindh, in Pakistan.
