The Ministry of Youth and Sports is the Moroccan ministry responsible for the sectors of youth and sports to ensure the protection of youth and preparing government policy for the development of sport.
The Ministry is responsible for preparing and implementing government policy in the areas of youth, sports, childhood and women in accordance with the current laws and regulations. It develops strategies to raise the level of association work and disseminates them, ensuring the protection of youth and their integration into society and develops activities enhancing national, regional and international cooperation in the fields of youth, childhood and women's affairs. It prepares government policy for the development and generalization of sport, coordinating and monitoring all sports activities at national level and develops strategic mechanisms for the advancement of high-level competitive sport. The Ministry also raises awareness of the importance of sport for the national economy, appealing economic actors to contribute to its development and establishes the necessary partnerships to implement sports, socio-educational and youth facilities, ensures the establishment of management processes, maintenance and control of property and institutions affiliated with the Ministry and coordinates and ensures the participation of national sports teams in international, regional and continental sports competitions with the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, the National Paralympic Committee and the sports universities. Another part is to coordinate programs combatting doping in sport and violence during competitions and sporting events.

The Permanent Population Committee (PPC) (Arabic: اللجنة الدائمة للسكان) is a national authority in the state of Qatar whose mission is to realize the aptness of population requirements to sustainable development. To do so, PPC bases its action on Islamic Sharia principles and communal values and traditions in line with the political foundations of the Qatar Permanent Constitution, the National Vision, the relevant Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Population Policies and other related regional and international guidelines. The PPC is charged with the responsibility for the implementation of the outcomes identified by the general framework of the GCC population strategy adopted by the GCC Supreme Council during its Nineteenth Session, held in Abu Dhabi UAE in 1998. This strategy prompted each member state to establish a higher population committee responsible for developing national population policies. Accordingly, the PPC was established by the Council of Ministers decision number (24) in 2004 with defined responsibilities and committee membership. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent, endorsed the decision.

It received funding for its operation and project implementation from the federal budget. The agency head office was in Moscow.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth is one of the ministries of the Qatari government and is located in Doha. It has 456 affiliated companies, and more than 600 employees. It cooperates with many committees and facilities. The Ministry of Youth and Sports was established by an Emiri Decree No. 16 of 2014 to promote youth and develop their skills, help them to perform their duties and raise the level of sports in the country. In 2016, the Ministry of Sports and Youth was merged with the Ministry of Culture, and in 2021 an Emiri decree was issued separating the Ministry of Culture from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and the ministry is currently held by Salah bin Ghanim Al-Ali.
