Minolops cincta is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Solariellidae. ^[1]

Morphological description

Minolops cincta is characterized by:

• Small, depressed-turbinate shell (5-7 mm diameter) with 4-5 whorls
• Distinctive spiral bands of reddish-brown on a pearly background ^[2]
• Umbilicate aperture with thin, complete peristome
• Smooth, iridescent nacre visible through the translucent shell

Description

The size of the shell attains 6 mm.

Distribution

This marine species occurs off South Australia.
