Lucero Miroslava Montemayor Gracia (born January 5, 1990) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder, sportscaster and businesswoman.

Montemayor won Nuestra Belleza Internacional México 2013 title and represented Mexico at Miss International 2013. [1]

Pageants

Lucero Montemayor was Señorita UANL 2011, beauty pageant in her University. She represented her home Químicas as Señorita Químicas 2011. Later at Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León 2012 she was the Suplente/1st Runner-up and was designated to compete with Cynthia Duque winner of Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León 2012 at Nuestra Belleza México 2012 pageant.

At the semifinal competition she was the Suplente/1st Runner-up of Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2012, title which was won by Marilyn Chagoya from Veracruz. At the final night she was again the Suplente/1st Runner-up of Cynthia Duque who was Nuestra Belleza México 2012 winner.

Months later, she was designated by Nuestra Belleza México Organization as Nuestra Belleza Internacional México 2013. And she represented Mexico at Miss International 2013 in Japan.

Broadcasting career

In 2014 Montemayor started her sportscasting career in Monterrey appearing in TV Azteca Noreste sports show ADN. [2] At TV Azteca Noreste, Montemayor covered the 2015 Pro Bowl and Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona, as well as other sporting events. [3] In December 2015, Montemayor left Azteca and joined ESPN to become the presenter of Spanish-language version of NFL Live . [4] Montemayor was also the presenter for ESPN Mexico's afternoon sports talk show Los Capitanes which is anchored by José Ramón Fernández.

Montemayor left NFL Live and Los Capitanes in August 2017 to become an anchor for the Spanish version of SportsCenter . She also hosts a show named Otra Ronda with Adalberto Franco every Thursday, the show airs on ESPN2 in Mexico. [5]

At ESPN Montemayor has covered events such as the Mexican Tennis Open in Acapulco, the Los Cabos Open in Los Cabos, Super Bowl LI in Houston and the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

On October 4, 2019, Montemayor announced her departure from ESPN.

Personal life

Montemayor is in a relationship with businessman and Club Tijuana President and owner Jorge Alberto Hank (son of Jorge Hank Rhon). On September 14, 2019, Montemayor announced their engagement on Instagram. [6]

Perales was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Laura Elizondo. She was the third Neoleonesa to win this title.

The 11th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro Tangamanga of San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico September 11, 2004. Twenty-five contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Laura Elizondo from Tamaulipas, who later competed in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand where she was the 3rd Runner-up. Elizondo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosalva Luna. She was the second Tamaulipeca and the first red hair to win this title.

The 14th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio "Profr. Manuel Bonilla Valle" of Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico on October 6, 2007. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Elisa Nájera from Guanajuato, who later competed in Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam where she was the 4th Runner-up. Nájera was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosa María Ojeda. She is the first and only Guanajuatense to win this title.

The 15th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Arena Monterrey of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on September 20, 2008. Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

The 13th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Espacio Cultural Metropolitano of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 2, 2006. Thirty contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Rosa Maria Ojeda from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. Ojeda was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Priscila Perales. She was the second Sinaloan to win this title.

The 16th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant was held at the Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico on September 20, 2009. It was the second time there were back-to-back victories for a state in Nuestra Belleza México history: Ximena Navarrete from Jalisco was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karla Carrillo also from Jalisco. She was the third Jalisciense to win this title. Thirty-four contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title. Navarrete competed in Miss Universe 2010 in the US and won the Universal Title.

The 17th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on September 25, 2010. The State of Jalisco, won for the third consecutive year with Karin Ontiveros, who later competed in Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil. Ontiveros was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder and Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete. She was the fourth Jalisciense to win this Title. Thirty-one contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title.

The 4th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Salon Teotihuacan of the Centro Internacional de Convenciones Acapulco of Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico on September 20, 1997. Thirty-two contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Katty Fuentes from Nuevo León, who later competed at Miss Universe 1998 in the US. Cruz was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Jacqueline Bracamontes. She is the first and only Yucateca and the third winner of foreign descent to win this Title.

Karin Cecilia Ontiveros Meza is a Mexican television host, model, sportscaster and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Nuestra Belleza México 2010 and represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2011.

The 18th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico on August 20, 2011. Thirty-four contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Karina González from Aguascalientes who later competed in Miss Universe 2012 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. González was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karin Ontiveros and Ximena Navarrete Miss Universe 2010. She was the first Hidrocalida to win this title.

The 19th annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant was held at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico on September 1, 2012. Thirty-five contestants of Mexico competed for the national title, which was won by Cynthia Duque from Nuevo León who later competed in Miss Universe 2013 in Russia. Duque was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karina González. She is the fourth Neoleonesa to win this title.

The 20th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Presidential Hangar of Aeropuerto Internacional "Lic. Adolfo López Mateos" of Toluca, Estado de México, Mexico on October 19, 2013. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Josselyn Garciglia from Baja California Sur who later competed in Miss Universe 2014 in United States. Garciglia was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Cynthia Duque. She is the first Sudcaliforniana to win this title.

Toque Inicial was a Mexican morning sports-talk television show hosted by Juan Pablo Fernández, Paulina García Robles and various ESPN Mexico personalities. The show airs on ESPN in Mexico and ESPN Deportes in the United States.
