Miss Asia Quest 1968 was the second Miss Quest Asia pageant, held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, on December 8, 1968.

Contents

Angela Filmer of Malaysia crowned Macy Shih of Taiwan as her successor at the end of the event. The pageant aims to promote tourism, peace, goodwill, credit and trading to the participating countries. Shih also received P10,000 (US$ 2,500 at 1968 rates) cash prize, a complete wardrobe, Asian cities tour, gifts ranging from camera to toothpaste. Her court each received P1,000 and prizes in kind. Miss Earth 2007, the seventh edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on November 12, 2007 at the University of the Philippines Theater, on campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. 88 delegates competed for the title, making 2007 the largest edition of delegates for Miss Earth. The pageant was hosted by MTV Asia VJ Utt Panichkul, Priscilla Meirelles and Ginger Conejero. Hil Hernández from Chile crowned her successor Jessica Trisko from Canada the end of the event.

Asia Pacific Deaf Games is a deaf multi-sport event established in 1984 which is held every 4 years in the Asia Pacific region. It is the successor to the "Far Eastern Deaf Football Championship" which was held in Taipei in 1983. The inaugural games was held in 1984 in Hong Kong. At that time, the games was known as the Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championship which was held biennially until 1988. In 1988, the games' governing body Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Confederation was formed during the 3rd Championship in Melbourne, Australia with Ms. Wendy Home as its first administrator. The games changed its name to its present name, the Asia Pacific Deaf Games when the games was held in Seoul, South Korea in 1992 after Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Confederation passed a resolution to change the name of the games, which has since been held once every four years.

Miss Asia Pacific International is one of the oldest international beauty pageants, based in Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1965 as Miss Asia and later renamed Miss Asia Pacific in 1984, followed by Miss Asia Pacific Quest in 1985 when Latin American and Pacific countries were included. In 2005, it was renamed to its current title, Miss Asia Pacific International.

Miss Earth 2018, the 18th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Goddesses of the Earth", was held on November 3, 2018, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Karen Ibasco of the Philippines crowned her successor Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam at the end of the event. This is the first time Vietnam won the Miss Earth pageant, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. On October 20, 2018, Miss Earth announced in their Facebook page that the winners of Eco-Video and Eco-Media Award winners automatically fast-tracked to the Top 18; the two delegates who earned two spots through the preliminary panel of judges and by the votes of social media.

Leren Mae Magnaye Bautista is a Filipino model, beauty pageant titleholder and politician who was crowned in several major pageants such as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2015 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 where she was crowned as the winner and at The Miss Globe 2019 pageant where she placed as 2nd Runner-Up.

Irma Priscilla Hardisurya is an Indonesian consultant, writer, journalist and beauty queen. She was crowned as the first-ever Miss Indonesia in 1969 and represented Indonesia in the 1970 Miss Asia Quest beauty pageant in the Philippines, winning the title of Miss Friendship. Hardisurya also participated in the Miss International 1969 contest held in Tokyo, Japan but did not make it into the semifinals. Hardisurya is the only Indonesian woman to represent Indonesia in two international beauty pageants, Miss International and Miss Asia Quest.

Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 will be the 5th edition of Miss Asia Pacific International pageant, to be held in the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Pasay, Philippines, on 7 October 2024. The competition is returning after a five-year hiatus under the new leadership of Eva Patalinjug, who has taken over as president. The last edition was held in 2019.
