Mississippi Highway 468 (MS 468) runs from Mississippi Highway 475 in Flowood, Mississippi where it is known as Flowood Drive to MS 469 in Brandon, Mississippi. It is known as Pearson Road in Pearl, Mississippi.

Route description

MS 468 starts at MS 475 in Flowood and travels southwestwards along Flowood Drive. The route turns southward near Fourth Street in downtown Flowood. At U.S. Route 80 (US 80) in Pearl, MS 468 is briefly concurrent with the U.S. route, before traveling southwards at Pearson Road. The road crosses over Interstate 20 (I-20) at a diamond interchange and later turns southeastwards at Whitfield Road. It intersects the southern terminus of MS 475 near the Mississippi State Hospital and crosses over a railroad near Greenfield. MS 468 then intersects MS 469 and turns north at Bethel Road. At Greenfield Circle, the road turns northeastwards and meets MS 18 near Brandon. It turns east at Pine Lawn Drive, and the route turns north at South College Street. MS 468 ends at US 80 in downtown Brandon, and the road continues north as North College Street. [3]

Mississippi Highway 69 is a state highway in eastern Mississippi. The route starts at the Alabama state line, and travels northwestward to Columbus. MS 69 then goes through downtown Columbus, and ends at U.S. Route 45 and US 82 in the west side of the town. Before the road was designated as MS 69 in 1941, it was a gravel road from Columbus to the state line. The road was paved in asphalt in 1953. In 1992, US 82 was realigned, and MS 69 was extended through Columbus to its current northern terminus.

Mississippi Highway 2 is a designation for two highways in northern Mississippi. The westernmost segment starts at MS 5 in Hickory Flat, and ends at MS 15 and MS 368 in Blue Mountain. The eastern segment starts at MS 4 near Ripley and it travels northeastwards towards Corinth. The route becomes concurrent with U.S. Route 72 and US 45 in Corinth, and ends at the Tennessee state line. The road continues as Tennessee State Route 22. The route was designated around 1932, from the state line near Mount Pleasant to the state line near Corinth. The section west of Corinth became a part of US 72 by 1935, and the route was extended southwestwards to Hickory Flat by 1958.

Mississippi Highway 555 is a state highway in southwestern Mississippi. The route has two sections, both in Adams County. The first section starts at Ogden Road and travels northwestward to its terminus at US 61. MS 555 travels northward through Pine Ridge and ends at Anna's Bottom Road near the Anna site. The route travels by a few historical locations, including the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Mississippi Highway 475 is a highway in central Mississippi. Its southern terminus is at MS 468. It then travels north to Jackson–Evers International Airport, and ends at MS 25 just north of it.

The Airport Parkway is a proposed major highway development project in the Jackson, Mississippi, metropolitan area that will connect Interstate 55 (I-55) in downtown Jackson to the Jackson-Evers International Airport. Approved in 2008, it was originally projected to be completed in 2012, but no construction has commenced as of 2023. A request to fund the rest of the planning for the route was made in 2023.

Mississippi Highway 149 is a state highway in Mississippi. The route designation is given to six former segments of U.S. Route 49, and two former sections of US 49W, within the state that have been bypassed. The sections run through Wiggins, Mount Olive, between Magee and Sanatorium, between Mendenhall and Braxton, in Richland, Mississippi, between Yazoo City and Silver City, Inverness, and Clarksdale. The total length of the eight sections of MS 149 is 58.073 miles (93.459 km).

Mississippi Highway 450 is a highway in western Mississippi. Its western terminus is at MS 1 south of Benoit. The route travels east to its eastern terminus at U.S. Route 61 and US 278. It was designated in 1956, starting at MS 1 south of Scott, and ending at Choctaw. Starting in 1962, the section near Stringtown was rerouted significantly. The last realignment was in 1974, where the section near Stringtown was straightened, and US 61 moved east of Choctaw.

Mississippi Highway 473 is a short highway in central Mississippi. Its southern terminus is at the Hinds–Copiah county line. The route travels north to Terry, and turns west. MS 473 enters Terry, and ends at Interstate 55 (I-55) and U.S. Route 51. The route was designated in 1957, from MS 27 to US 51. MS 473 was removed from the state highway system in 1967. It was restored into the system in 1995, from the county line to I-55/US 51.

Mississippi Highway 161 (MS 161) is a state highway designation for three highways in the U.S. state of Mississippi, consisting of old alignments of U.S. Route 61 (US 61). Totaling at 19.872 miles (31.981 km), the three sections are located in Bolivar, Coahoma, and Desoto counties. The Bolivar County section, designated in 2000, travels from Merigold to Mound Bayou and Shelby. In Coahoma County, MS 161 was designated in 2004 and runs through Clarksdale and Lyon. In Desoto County, MS 161 travels through the town of Walls and was created in 1999.

Mississippi Highway 602 was a highway in southern Mississippi. Its southern terminus was at MS 43, which is now inside the John C. Stennis Space Center. The road traveled a slightly curved route to its northern terminus at U.S. Route 11 and MS 43 in Picayune. MS 602 was designated in 1958, only in Pearl River County. The route was extended south into Hancock County two years later. MS 602 was then removed from the state highway system in 1967, less than a decade after it was designated.

Mississippi Highway 37 is a state highway in central Mississippi. The route starts at U.S. Route 84 near Collins. The road travels northward through the town of Taylorsville, crossing from Covington County to Smith County. MS 37 turns northwestward and ends at MS 35 in Raleigh. The road first existed as part of MS 35, and it became a spur route of MS 35 by 1941. It was renumbered as MS 37 by 1950, and fully paved by 1952.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mississippi Highway 389</span> Highway in Mississippi

Mississippi Highway 389 is a state highway that runs from south to north in the U.S. State of Mississippi. MS 389 currently exists in two sections. The southern section begins at MS 182 in Starkville. The road travels north out of the city, and crosses U.S. Route 82 and MS 15. North of Starkville, the route continues northwestwards and ends at the Oktibbeha–Clay county line south of Pheba. The northern section starts at MS 46 west of Montpelier, and it travels north to cross the Natchez Trace Parkway in Chickasaw County. MS 389 ends at MS 8 in Houston.
