Mohammad-Reza Pour-Mohammadi (born 1958 in Tabriz,East Azerbaijan) is the former governor of East Azerbaijan province,from 2018 to 2021. He was the President of Tabriz University from January 2014 to September 2018 and also from 2002 to 2005 at Reform Government. [1]
Pour-Mohammadi was born in 1958 in Tabriz at Azerbaijani parents. He graduated high school in Tabriz,and graduated with a PhD in Urban Planning from Cardiff University.

The Gonbad-e Sorkh is the name of a historical building in Maragheh,Iran,built in 1147 AD in the Seljuq dynasty period. The architectural style of this building is Razi style. The Gonbad-e Sorkh is one of the oldest buildings of the Islamic period in the East Azerbaijan Province,which is located in the southwestern part of the city of Maragheh and it is one of the most important historical monuments of this city. The name of the founder of the building and the date of its construction can be seen from the inscription of the northern front and the name of its builder can be seen from the western inscription.

Abd al-Rahim Aqiqi Bakhshayishi was an Iranian Islamic jurist,religious writer,journalist and translator,widely known for his biographies of Twelver Shia scholars. Born in Bakhshayesh village of Heris County to an Azeri farmer family. He completed his religious studies in Qom with prominent scholars and graduated from Tehran University in 1971. From religious journalism,he started his independent writing and activities in 1961. A pro-Khomeini during 1979 revolution,Aqiqi was also active in the Islam Da'wah as a Twelver Shia faqih. He died in Qom at the age of seventy and left many works and translations from Arabic to Persian.
