Moldova are talent ("Moldova's got Talent") is a TV show which first aired on 11 October 2013. The project is a franchise of Got Talent , developed by Simco Limited. The hosts of the show are Adrian Ursu and Mircea Marco. The judges are a well known Moldovan opera singer, Mihai Muntean, the Moldovan singer Tania Cerga, a Moldovan singer (vocalist of Gândul Mâței band), Prime TV star and presenter Nicu Țărnă. The grand prize of first serie is 500,000 MDL.

Format

The auditions take place between May and June 2013, in front of the judges and a live audience at different cities across the Moldova: Nisporeni, Bălți, Constanța, Drochia, Soroca, Edineț, Orhei, Cahul, Comrat, Ungheni, Hâncești, Căușeni and Chișinău. [1] The main contest take place in Chișinău, capital of Moldova. At any time during the contest, the judges may show disapproval to the act by pressing a buzzer which lights a large red "X" on the stage, indicating that they particularly dislike the act and do not wish the performance to continue. If all the judges press their buzzers, the act must end immediately.

First episode was on 11 October 2013. Contest has 2 semi-finals, from each semi-final 7 participants qualifying for the final that took place on 27 December 2013. On first place with a prize of 500,000 lei won Monica Pîrlici, a 10 years old girl ani recited an emotional poetry "Nimic nu sunt" ("I am nothing"), written by Romanian bard Costache Ioanid. [2] and second place – dancers team "Maximum".

Season two

At the end of first season final, presenters Mircea Marco and Adrian Ursu announced that soon will begin the preparations for the second season of show. [3] Preselections took place in spring-summer of 2014, and auditions of the 2nd season began on 19 September 2014. In telecast of 28 November, auditions phase ended and took place jury deliberations in which was selected the 36 semi-finalists. [4] The three semifinals took place on 5, 12, and 19 December, and from each semifinal promoted in top 4 participants. In the final, on 26 December 2014, on first place and the winner became Ana Munteanu, a 13 years teen, who in the final sung Patricia's Kaas – "Il parle d'amour", and in previous phases – two songs of Vladimir Vystsky. [5] [6] and on second place speedcuber Roberto Lozovanu.

<i>Românii au talent</i> Romanian TV series or program

Românii au talent is a TV show which began airing on 18 February 2011. The project acts as a Romanian version of the franchise Got Talent, developed by Simco Limited. The show is hosted by Smiley and Pavel Bartoș, while the opening judge panel consisted of presenter Andi Moisescu, singer Andra and dancer Mihai Petre; following Petre's exclusion for the fifth season, TV presenter Mihaela Rădulescu and actor Florin Călinescu joined the panel. The winner of "Românii au talent" is awarded with €120,000.

The song was later translated from English to Romanian for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "O mie". Aliona Munteanu, better known as Aliona Moon, is a Moldovan singer. In 2012, she was a backing vocalist for Pasha Parfeny who represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Aliona was selected to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "O Mie" composed by Pasha Parfeny. Aliona finished in fourth place in the first semi-final and 11th place in the Eurovision 2013 final. In 2014, she competed on The Voice of Romania where she finished in fourth place in the final.

<i>Britains Got Talent</i> series 8 Season of television series

The eighth series of British talent competition programme Britain's Got Talent was broadcast on ITV, from 12 April to 7 June 2014; because of England's international friendly with Peru, the show took a break on 30 May to avoid clashing with live coverage of the match. Auditions were held in Northern Ireland instead of Scotland for this series, with hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly having to stand in for Simon Cowell, after illness forced him to be absent during a day of auditions. <i>Britains Got Talent</i> series 10 Season of television series

The tenth series of the British talent competition programme Britain's Got Talent was broadcast on ITV, from 9 April to 28 May 2016. To celebrate ten series of the show, the final featured a special performance entitled "Best of Britain’s Got Talent", which featured several participants who had appeared on the show during the previous nine series, including Ashleigh and Pudsey, Attraction, Diversity, Jon Clegg, Stavros Flatley, Collabro and Spelbound. <i>Britains Got Talent</i> series 13 British talent competition series

The thirteenth series of British talent competition programme Britain's Got Talent was broadcast on ITV, from 6 April to 2 June 2019. This series became the first to see the return of Ant McPartlin to his television duties, hosting alongside Dec Donnelly, following his absence the previous year to attend rehabilitation prior to the start of the previous series' live episodes. Alongside McPartlin's return, the competition for this year saw the oldest participant to win Britain's Got Talent, and the surprise return of a performer who participated in a previous year's contest, operating under an alias until their final appearance.

Moldova participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with the song "Trenulețul" performed by the band Zdob și Zdub and the Advahov Brothers.
