Moqbelabad (Persian : مقبل اباد‎, also Romanized as Moqbelābād; also known as Moghbel Abad)^[1] is a village in Shurab Rural District, in the Central District of Arsanjan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 272, in 64 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shurab Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Arsanjan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,279, in 1,829 families. The rural district has 27 villages.

The Central District of Arsanjan County is a district (bakhsh) in Arsanjan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 40,916, in 9,800 families. The District has one city: Arsanjan. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Aliabad-e Malek Rural District, Khobriz Rural District, and Shurab Rural District.
