Sang Kar (Persian : سنگ كر‎, also Romanized as Sang-e Kar; also known as Sangar)^[1] is a village in Aliabad-e Malek Rural District, in the Central District of Arsanjan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 220, in 51 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Aliabad-e Malek Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Arsanjan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,657, in 2,095 families. The rural district has 37 villages.
