Muelleromyces is a monotypic genus of fungi in the family Phyllachoraceae. [1] It only contains one known species; Muelleromyces indicusKamat & Anahosur. [2]

The genus name of Muelleromyces is in honour of Emil Müller (1920–2008), who was a Swiss mycologist. [3]

The genus was circumscribed by Madhav Narayan Kamat and K.H. Anahosur in Experientia vol.24 on page 849 in 1968.

<i>Sutorius</i> Genus of fungi

Sutorius is a genus of fungi in the family Boletaceae. Its type species is the widely distributed Sutorius eximius. The Asian Boletus obscureumbrinus, found in Japan and China, was described by Japanese mycologist Tsuguo Hongo in 1968, moved to genus Sutorius in 2016, but then reclassified into genus Neoboletus in 2019. The Australian Sutorius australiensis and the southern Chinese Sutorius subrufus also belong to the genus.

Cerro Duida

Cerro Duida, named Yennamadi by the ye'kwana, is a very large tepui in Amazonas state, Venezuela. It has an uneven and heavily inclined plateau, rising from highs of around 1,300–1,400 metres (4,300–4,600 ft) in the north and east to a maximum of 2,358 metres (7,736 ft) on its southwestern rim. It has a summit area of 1,089 km2 (420 sq mi) and an estimated slope area of 715 km2 (276 sq mi). At its foot lies the small settlement of La Esmeralda, from which the mountain can be climbed.

Emil Müller was a Swiss mycologist. He specialised in the study of the systematics of the Ascomycetes. Müller was the editor of the scientific journal Sydowia for several years, taking over the position after the death of the previous editor and founder, Franz Petrak, in 1973. Müller published more than 200 papers in his scientific career. He was well known in the mycological community for two taxonomic publications co-authored with his colleague J.A. von Arx: Die Gattungen der amerosporen Pyrenomyceten and Die Gattungen der didymosporen Pyrenomyceten.
