Muhammad Fauzi bin Yusoff is a Malaysian politician who has served as State Leader of the Opposition of Penang since November 2023 and Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sungai Dua since August 2023. He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a component of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. [1]
Muhammad Fauzi is the Commissioner and Chief Dewan Ulama of PAS Penang. Besides that,he is also the Chairman of PAS Balik Pulau Division.

The Malaysian Islamic Party,also known as the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party or its Jawi-based acronym PAS,is an Islamist political party in Malaysia. Ideologically focused on Islamic fundamentalism,PAS's electoral base is largely centred around Peninsular Malaysia's rural and eastern coasts and conservative northern,particularly in the states of Kelantan,Terengganu,Perlis,and Kedah. They also gained significant support in the rural areas of Perak and Pahang in the last 2022 general election and the 2023 state elections;dubbed as the "Green Wave".
The Democratic Action Party is a centre-left social democratic political party in Malaysia. As one of four component parties of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition,it formed the federal government after defeating Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 2018 Malaysian general election,ending the party's 53 year-long stay in the opposition. However,before the coalition finished its first term,defections from partnering parties caused it to lose power after 22 months,culminating in the 2020 Malaysian political crisis. At the 2022 Malaysian general election,the PH coalition which the DAP was part of was returned to power again,albeit without a majority,leading it to form a unity government with political rivals.
The People's Justice Party;often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR,is a reformist political party in Malaysia formed on 3 August 2003 through a merger of the party's predecessor,the National Justice Party,with the socialist Malaysian People's Party. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the PH coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalition. He has also served as the 2nd Deputy President of AMANAH since December 2023 and State Chairman of PH of Perak since June 2021.
Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican is a Malaysian politician and banker who has served as 9th Chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) since May 2023 and Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bertam since August 2023.
