Mullu Apachita [1] (Aymara mullu colored stone like a coral with which they make necklaces, apachita the place of transit of an important pass in the principal routes of the Andes; name in the Andes for a stone cairn, a little pile of rocks built along the trail in the high mountains, [2] [3] [4] Hispanicized spelling Mullu Apacheta) is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,368 metres (17,612 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department at the border of the Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality, and the Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. [5] It is situated southeast of the mountains Wila Lluxita and Janq'u Uyu.

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is an official language of Bolivia. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in southern Peru and in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Corals are marine invertebrates within the class Anthozoa of the phylum Cnidaria. They typically live in compact colonies of many identical individual polyps. Corals species include the important reef builders that inhabit tropical oceans and secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton.

Andes Mountain range in South America

The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. The Andes also have the 2nd most elevated highest peak of any mountain range, only behind the Himalayas. The range is 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, 200 to 700 km wide, and has an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). The Andes extend from north to south through seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

Aqhuya Aqhuyani is a 5,164-metre-high (16,942 ft) peak in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality. Aqhuya Aqhuyani lies northeast of Mullu Apachita and northwest of the village of Uma Pallqa (Uma Palca) and Turini.

Q'ara Quta is a lake on the western side of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Comunidad Alto Peñas. It lies north-west of the Kunturiri massif, between the lakes Wichhu Quta (5 km) in the south-west and Khotia Quta and Janq'u Quta in the north-east. The lakes are connected by Jach'a Jawira, a river which originates near the mountain Wila Lluxita and flows down to Lake Titicaca. Q'ara Quta is situated at a height of about 4,400 metres (14,400 ft), about 5 km long and 0,65 km at its widest point.

Turini (Larecaja)

Turini is a 5,064-metre-high (16,614 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality. Turini lies northwest of the river Uma Pallqa and the village of Uma Pallqa. It is situated northeast of Jisk'a Turini.

It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated between the mountains Jallawaya in the west and Janq'u Uyu in the south-east, north of Warawarani, Wila Lluxi and Phaq'u Kiwuta, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Phaqu Kiwuta mountain in Bolivia

Phaq'u Kiwuta is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,589 m (18,337 ft) high. It is located in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountain Wila Lluxi, south-east of Warawarani and north of a lake named Quta Thiya in some maps. Other prominent mountains nearby are Jisk'a Pata and Janq'u Uyu in the north, and Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita in the north-east, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Puma Apachita is a mountain in the Tunari mountain range of the Bolivian Andes, about 4,920 m (16,142 ft) high. It is situated in the Cochabamba Department, Quillacollo Province, Quillacollo Municipality, northwest of Cochabamba. Puma Apachita lies southeast of Jatun Q'asa.

Qala Tuxu

Qala T'uxu or Qala Tuqu is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,076 metres (16,654 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Chachacomani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Lluxi and Warawarani and north-west of the mountain Phaq'u Kiwuta.

Kimsa Chata (Los Andes)

Kimsa Chata is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,056 metres (16,588 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Lluxi, Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta, between the mountain Qala T'uxu in the north and the lake Q'ara Quta in the south.

Jach'a Qullu is situated southwest of Jisk'a Pata and Jach'a Pata, southwest of Jach'a Juqhu and northwest of Wila Lluxi, Warawarani and Qala T'uxu.

Jach'a Juqhu is situated south of the mountain Wari Umaña, south-west of Jisk'a Pata, north-west of Wila Lluxi and Warawarani, north of Qala T'uxu and north-east of Jach'a Qullu.

Wila Wilani (Los Andes)

Wila Wilani is a 5,250-metre-high (17,224 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, southwest of the mountain Chachakumani. Wila Wilani lies between the rivers Qillwani and Chachakumani. It is situated near the mountains Patapatani and Jach'a T'uxu in the northeast and Wari Sipitaña in the southeast.

Jiska Turini

Jisk'a Turini is a 4,905-metre-high (16,093 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, in the northeast of the Batallas Municipality. Jisk'a Turini is situated southwest of Turini and southeast of Mullu Apachita. The lakes named Juri Quta and Ch'uxña Quta lie between Mullu Apachita and Jisk'a Turini.

Imilla Apachita

Imilla Apachita is a 5,184-metre-high (17,008 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Imilla Apachita lies between the mountains Huayna Potosí in the northeast and Wila Kunka Pata in the southwest.

Chuchu Apachita

Ch'uch'u Apachita is a 4,855-metre-high (15,928 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Ch'uch'u Apachita lies north of the main range of the Cordillera Real, south to southwest of the mountain Ch'uch'u, northwest of Chunta Qullu and east of Jukumarini. This is where the river Ch'uch'u Jawira originates.

Qulin Tuqu mountain in Bolivia

Qulin Tuqu Aymara quli tousled, tuqu goitre -n a suffix, also spelled Culin Thojo) is a 5,368-metre-high (17,612 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, in the northeastern part of the Batallas Municipality. It is situated southeast of Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita.

Wintanani mountain in Bolivia

Wintanani is a 5,428-metre-high (17,808 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, in the northeastern part of the Batallas Municipality. Wintanani is situated southeast of Wila Lluxita, Mullu Apachita and Qulin Tuqu. It lies at the Jach'a Jawira valley with Janq'u Quta at its feet. Wila Lluxi and Phaq'u Kiwuta are opposite the mountain, beyond Jach'a Jawira.
