Muribaculum is a genus from the family of Muribaculaceae [2] (formerly Porphyromonadaceae), with one known species (Muribaculum intestinale). [1] [3]
The Lachnospiraceae are a family of obligately anaerobic, variably spore-forming bacteria in the order Eubacteriales that ferment diverse plant polysaccharides to short-chain fatty acids and alcohols (ethanol). These bacteria are among the most abundant taxa in the rumen and the human gut microbiota. Members of this family may protect against colon cancer in humans by producing butyric acid. Lachnospiraceae have been found to contribute to diabetes in genetically susceptible (ob/ob) germ-free mice.
Leadbetterella is a Gram-negative and strictly aerobic bacterial genus from the family of Spirsomaceae, with one known species.
Bartonella fuyuanensis is a bacterium from the genus Bartonella.
Bartonella heixiaziensis is a bacterium from the genus Bartonella.
Muribaculum intestinale is a strictly anaerobic bacterium from the genus of Muribaculum which has been isolated from the caecal content of a mouse in Zürich in Switzerland.
Terasakiella brassicae is a Gram-negative, aerobic and motile bacterium species from the genus of Terasakiella which has been isolated from wastewater.
Butyricicoccus is a bacterial genus from the family of Oscillospiraceae., formerly ranked in the family of Clostridiaceae.
Anaerolinea is a bacterial genus from the family of Anaerolineaceae.
Glutamicibacter endophyticus is a Gram-positive, aerobic and non-motile bacterium from the genus Glutamicibacter which has been isolated from the roots of the plant Salsola affinis in Urumqi, China.
Shewanella corallii is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped and motile bacterium from the genus Shewanella which was isolated in March 2005 from a Red Sea coral from the Gulf of Eilat in Israel. In 2016, S. corallii strain A687 was isolated from a pufferfish in Arraial de Cabo, Brazil.
Parviterribacter is a Gram-positive and non-spore-forming genus of bacteria from the family of Parviterribacteraceae.
Muribaculaceae, previously known as S24-7, is a family of bacteria within the order Bacteroidales. Muribaculaceae is a prevalent and abundant bacterial component of the gut microbiome of mammals.
Cuneatibacter is a rod-shaped bacterial genus from the family of Lachnospiraceae with one known species.
Streptomyces lasiicapitis is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from the head of the ant Lasius fuliginosus. Streptomyces lasiicapitis produces the antibiotic kanchanamycin.
Phaeobacter piscinae is a heterotrophic, antimicrobial and motile bacteria from the genus of Phaeobacter. Phaeobacter piscinae produces tropodithietic acid.
Falsirhodobacter deserti is a Gram-negative, aerobic, halotolerant, heterotrophic and non-motile bacteria bacterium from the genus of Falsirhodobacter which has been isolated from the desert of Xinjiang in China.
Aridibacter famidurans is a non-motile bacterium from the genus of Aridibacter which has been isolated from clayey sand from Erichsfelde in Namibia.
Aridibacter nitratireducens is a non-motile bacterium from the genus of Aridibacter which has been isolated from clayey sand from Eikwe in Ghana.
Brevitalea is a genus of bacteria from the family of Arenimicrobiaceae.
Brevitalea aridisoli is a bacterium from the genus of Brevitalea which has been isolated from savanna soil from Mashare in Namibia.
