Murjan (Persian : مورجن‎, also Romanized as Mūrjan)^[1] is a village in Vahdat Rural District, Mugarmun District, Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 88, in 16 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Vahdat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Mugarmun District, Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,576, in 294 families. The rural district was established in 2012. The rural district has 19 villages.

Mugarmun District is a district (bakhsh) in Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,006, in 370 families. The District has no city. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Shitab Rural District and Vahdat Rural District. The district was established in 2012.
