Ruch-e Sofla (Persian : روچ سفلي‎, also Romanized as Rūch-e Soflá; also known as Roch, Roch Bālā, Zoj-e Bālā, and Zoj-e ‘Olyā)^[1] is a village in Olya Tayeb Rural District, in the Central District of Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30, in 5 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Olya Tayeb Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,253, in 596 families. The rural district has 40 villages.
