Sar Khalun (Persian : سرخلون, also Romanized as Sar Khalūn; also known as Deh Sar Khūn and Sar Khūn) [1] is a village in Tayebi-ye Garmsiri-ye Shomali Rural District, in the Central District of Landeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15, in 5 families. [2]

At the 2006 census, its population including portions detached to form Mugarmun District in 2012, was 7,358, in 1,386 families; excluding those portions, the population was 5,352, in 1,016 families. The rural district has 28 villages.

The District has one city: Landeh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Olya Tayeb Rural District and Tayebi-ye Garmsiri-ye Shomali Rural District. The district was established in 2012.
