Mushroom 11 is a 2015 puzzle-platform game developed and published by Untame. [1] The game is a 2D side-scroller where players control a green mushroom by deleting parts of cells while it simultaneously regrows. The mushroom can be split and shaped to solve puzzles. [2]
The game was started at the 2012 Global Game Jam event at New York University. [3] Mushroom 11 uses the game engine Unity. [4] It has also been supported by the Indie Fund. [5] The music for the game was licensed from The Future Sound of London. [6] [7]

Mushroom 11 received positive early critical response for the game's unique mechanic and theme. [15] [16] [17] It was a finalist for the IGF 2014 Excellence in Design. [18] [19] IGN awarded it a score of 9.0 out of 10, saying "Mushroom 11 is a strange and unique game that reshapes the way you think about its puzzles." [20]
Mushroom 11 was nominated by IGN for its "Most Innovative" game of 2015 award. [21]
Braid is a puzzle-platform video game developed by Number None and considered an indie title. The game was originally released in August 2008 for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade service. Ports were developed and released for Microsoft Windows in April 2009, Mac OS X in May 2009, PlayStation 3 in November 2009, and Linux in December 2010. Jonathan Blow designed the game as a personal critique of contemporary trends in video game development. He self-funded the three-year project, working with webcomic artist David Hellman to develop the artwork. Closure is a puzzle-platform game developed by American programmer Tyler Glaiel and artist Jon Schubbe with music and sound by Chris Rhyne. Originally available as a Flash game on the website Newgrounds, a full version of the game was later released for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and PlayStation Network in Spring 2012. The game has he player take on the role of Rita, a barista stuck on a desert island after a plane crash. Along with five others, Rita has to lead the group to survive. The game was funded by a Kickstarter campaign, raising over $40,000 from 1,816 backers. Inspirations for the video game are The Oregon Trail, tabletop role-playing game Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and television series Lost.

Viewed from an isometric perspective, the game requires interactions with computers, combining items and puzzle solving. The game was released on 31 August 2015 for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, with Linux and mobile devices planned for future release.
Wild Earth is a safari video game and motion simulator ride by Super X Studios. The player photographs 30 types of animals as a photojournalist in Serengeti National Park. It was first released as an online video game in France on March 17, 2006, and in North America on April 24, 2006. Akella published the game for Microsoft Windows as Safari Photo Africa: Wild Earth on September 18, 2006, and Ubisoft published it as Wild Earth: Photo Safari in November 2006, while Xplosiv published it as Wild Earth: Africa on April 5, 2007. Majesco later published a Wii version, Wild Earth: African Safari, in 2008. The game was also installed as a motion simulator ride in multiple American zoos. It won several awards including the grand prize at the 2003 Independent Games Festival.
