Mustla is a small borough (alevik) in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 818. [1]

1938–1979 Mustla was a town with town privileges.

In June 2018, a plaque commemorating Alfons Rebane was unveiled on the wall of a private building in Mustla where he had lived. [2] [3] The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested the unveiling. [4]

It's located on the western shore of Lake Võrtsjärv, about 7 km (4 mi) east of Mustla, the administrative centre of the municipality. As of the 2011 census, Kivilõppe's population was 35.

Ämmuste is a village in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. Until the 2017 administrative reform of Estonian municipalities the village was located in Tarvastu Parish. It is located 6.4 km south of the small borough of Mustla and 24 km southwest of the town of Viljandi near the border of Valga County. As of 2011, Ämmuste had a population of 15 residents, a decrease from 22 in the 2000 census. These figures, however, do not reflect the population number when students and faculty of Ämmuste School are factored in.
