History of NASCAR schedule realignments refers to changes in the schedule of the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Martinsville Speedway is a stock car racing short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, just south of Martinsville. The track was also one of the first paved oval tracks in stock car racing, being built in 1947 by partners H. Clay Earles, Henry Lawrence, and Sam Rice, nearly a year before NASCAR was officially formed. It is also the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948. Along with this, Martinsville is the only oval track on the NASCAR circuit to have asphalt surfaces on the straightaways and concrete to cover the turns. At 0.526 miles (847 m) in length, it is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series. It is owned by NASCAR.
Eldora Speedway is a 0.5 mi (804.672 m) high-banked clay dirt oval. Located north of Rossburg, Ohio in the village of New Weston, Ohio, its website claims capacity for 22,886 spectators in the permanent grandstand, and unlimited admittance for the grass hillside spectator area. The permanent grandstand and VIP suite seats make it the largest sports stadium in the Dayton, Ohio-region according to the Dayton Business Journal.
Pickup truck racing events in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series have been held annually in the spring at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas since 2001. Since 2020, the race has been 134 laps and 201 miles (323 km) long.
Stock car races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has been held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida since 1996. The 200-mile race, originally a 250-mile race between 1996 to 2002, is currently known as Baptist Health Cancer Care 200 for sponsorship reasons.
ThorSport Racing is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team was founded in 1996 as SealMaster Racing and is based in Sandusky, Ohio. Owned by Duke Thorson and his wife Rhonda, it currently fields five teams: the No. 13 for Jake Garcia, the No. 66 part-time mainly for Conner Jones, No. 88 for Matt Crafton, the No. 98 for Ty Majeski, and the No. 99 for Ben Rhodes. The team has won five Truck Series championships, three with Crafton, and two with Rhodes. The team is also the longest continually tenured team in the truck series, having fielded at least one truck in every season since 1996.
The M&M's 200 presented by Casey's General Stores was a 200-lap NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. The race ran from 2009 to 2019 before being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and removed entirely from the schedule in 2021.
The Eldora Dirt Derby was a 75-mile-long (121 km) annual race in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. During its existence from 2013 to 2019, the race was the only dirt track racing event on any NASCAR national touring series schedule and the first since 1970. Due to coronavirus concerns in 2020, the race was not run and is not scheduled to be run again in the Truck Series. The standalone dirt event was later moved to Knoxville Raceway for 2021.

The Bush's Beans 200 is an annual 200-lap 106.6-mile (171.6 km) ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East combination race held at Bristol Motor Speedway. It is held as part of the fall NASCAR weekend at the track.
The Weather Guard Truck Race is a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The race is held on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series' Food City 500.
The Clean Harbors 150 was a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing event at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa. The inaugural running of the race was on July 9, 2021, the first NASCAR national touring event to be held at the historic facility. This is the third dirt track that the Truck Series has raced at, with the first being Eldora Speedway and the second being the dirt iteration of Bristol Motor Speedway.
The 2020 Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 was the 9th stock car race of the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season, and the 20th iteration of the event. The race was originally supposed to be held on May 30, 2020, but was postponed to July 24, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The race was held in Kansas City, Kansas at Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent D-shaped oval racetrack. The race took the scheduled 134 laps to complete. At race's end, Austin Hill of Hattori Racing Enterprises would dominate the race and win, the 5th win of his career in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, and the first of the season. To fill the podium, Brett Moffitt of GMS Racing and Grant Enfinger of ThorSport Racing would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
The 2020 Clean Harbors 200 was the 20th stock car race of the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season and the first race of the Round of 8. The race was originally going to be held at Eldora Speedway for the Eldora Dirt Derby, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NASCAR was forced to move the race to Kansas City, Kansas and give Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent D-shaped oval racetrack, a temporary third date. The race was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020. The race was extended from the scheduled 134 laps to 139 laps due to a NASCAR overtime finish. After a final restart that was caused by Zane Smith wrecked while trying to pass the leader Brett Moffitt, Brett Moffitt with 2 to go would pull away from the field and win his 12th career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series win, and the first and only win of the season. To fill out the podium, Sheldon Creed of GMS Racing and Austin Hill of Hattori Racing Enterprises finished second and third, respectively.
