Nadine Faustin-Parker (born 14 April 1976)[1] is a Haitianhurdler born in Brussels, Belgium.[2] She has represented Haiti at three Summer Olympics; (in 2000, 2004 and 2008).
She earned All-America honors at the University of North Carolina before graduating in 1999 and was inducted into the University of North Carolina Track and Field Hall of Honor in 2007.[5]
Her personal best time is 12.74 seconds, achieved at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. This is the current Haitian record.[6] She also holds the Haitian record for the 60 meter hurdles with 7.99 seconds.
Parker now is the Sprints and Hurdles coach for both men's and women's track at The University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Go Bearcats!. She is credited with convincing American-born Marlena Wesh to sprint in the 2012 London Olympics for Haiti.[7]
Yolanda Gail Devers is an American retired track and field sprinter who competed in the 60 metres, 60 m hurdles, 100 m and 100 m hurdles. One of the greatest and most decorated female sprinters of all time, she was the 1993, 1997 and 2004 world indoor champion in the 60 m, while in the 60 m hurdles, she was the 2003 world indoor champion and 2004 silver medalist. In the 100 m, she is the second woman in history to defend an Olympic 100 m title, winning gold at both the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. She was also the 1993 world champion in the event, becoming the first ever female sprinter to simultaneously hold the world and Olympic titles in the 100m. In the 100 m hurdles, she was the 1993, 1995 and 1999 world champion, and the 1991 and 2001 world silver medalist. In 2011, she was inducted into the National Track and Field Hall of Fame.
Merlene Joyce Ottey is a Jamaican-Slovenian former track and field sprinter. She began her career representing Jamaica in 1978, and continued to do so for 24 years, before representing Slovenia from 2002 to 2012. She is ranked fourth on the all-time list over 60 metres (indoor), eighth on the all-time list over 100 metres and sixth on the all-time list over 200 metres. She is the current world indoor record holder for 200 metres with 21.87 seconds, set in 1993. She was named Jamaican Sportswoman of the Year 13 times between 1979 and 1995.

Liu Xiang is a Chinese former 110 meter hurdler. Liu is an Olympic Gold medalist and World Champion. His 2004 Olympic gold medal was the first in a men's track and field event for China.

Kerron Stephon Clement is a Trinidadian-born American track and field athlete who competes in the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter sprint. He held the indoor world record in the 400-meter sprint, having broken Michael Johnson's mark in 2005.

LaVerne Janet Jones-Ferrette is a sprinter from the United States Virgin Islands who specializes in the 100 and 200 meters. She represented her country at the Summer Olympics in 2004, 2008 and 2012.
