Rajasthan is a state in northern India. The state covers an area of 342,239 square kilometres (132,139 sq mi) or 10.4 percent of the total geographical area of India. It is the largest Indian state by area and the seventh largest by population. Rajasthan is located on the northwestern side of India, where it comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert and shares a border with the Pakistani provinces of Punjab to the northwest and Sindh to the west, along the Sutlej-Indus river valley. Elsewhere it is bordered by five other Indian states: Punjab to the north; Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast; Madhya Pradesh to the southeast; and Gujarat to the southwest.
Rajput is a large multi-component cluster of castes, kin bodies, and local groups, sharing social status and ideology of genealogical descent originating from the Indian subcontinent. The term Rajput covers various patrilineal clans historically associated with warriorhood: several clans claim Rajput status, although not all claims are universally accepted.
The Sisodia are an Indian Rajput clan, who claim Suryavanshi lineage. A dynasty belonging to this clan ruled over the kingdom of Mewar in Rajasthan. The name of the clan is also transliterated as Sesodia, Shishodia, Sishodia, Shishodya, Sisodya, Sisodhya or Sisodiya.
The Rajput-class guided-missile destroyers built for the Indian Navy are modified versions of Soviet Kashin-class destroyers. They are also known as Kashin-II class. The ships were built in the former Soviet Union after considerable Indian design modifications to the Kashin design. These included the replacement of the helicopter pad in the original design with a flight elevator, as well as major changes to the electronics and combat systems. Five units were built for export to India in the 1980s. All units are currently attached to the Eastern Naval Command.
Saini is a caste of North India. The 1901 census noted that people using the Shoorsaini name were by then found in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, utter predesh, uttarakhand and Delhi.
Bhati is a clan of found in India and Pakistan. The Bhatti Rajputs claim Chandravanshi origin.
Gahlot is a gotra (clan) of India. The variations of the name include Gehlot, Gohil, Gohel,Gelot. It is associated with the Rajput community, and members of this clan once ruled princely states in present-day Rajasthan and Gujarat. Gahlot is also a gotra of non-Rajput castes such as the Mali and Jat.
Muslim Rajputs or Musulman Rajputs, are patrilineal descendants of Rajputs of Northern regions of the Indian subcontinent who are followers of Islam. Today, Muslim Rajputs can be found in Northern India and some parts of Pakistan. They are further divided into different clans.
The Rajput Regiment is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. It is composed primarily of troops from the Rajput, Ahir, Brahmin, Bengali, Dogra, Gurjar, Jat, Muslim, and Sikh communities. During the Second World War, the class composition of the regiment was 50% Rajput and 50% Muslim.

The Khanzada or Khan Zadeh are a community of Muslim Rajputs found in the Mewat region of state of Rajasthan, India. This community is distinct from the Rajasthani Khanzada, the descendants of Wali-e-Mewat Raja Naher Khan, who are a sub-clan of Jadaun gotra. They are also a community of Muslim Rajputs. They refer to themselves as Musalmaan Rajputs, or sometimes just Rajputs. In addition, a small number of Khanzada are also found in the Terai region of Nepal. After independence of Pakistan in 1947, many members of this community migrated to Pakistan and settled mainly in Karachi.

His debut show was Star Plus's romantic drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), followed by an award-winning performance in Zee TV's popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta (2009–11).
