Nahr-e Seyyed Yusef (Persian : نهرسيديوسف‎, also Romanized as Nahr-e Seyyed Yūsef; also known as Seyyed Yūsef)^[1] is a village in Nasar Rural District, Arvandkenar District, Abadan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 132, in 24 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Arvandkenar is a district (bakhsh) in Abadan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,010, in 4,930 families. The District has one city: Arvandkenar. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Minubar Rural District, Nasar Rural District, and Noabad Rural District.

Abadan County is a county in Khuzestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Abadan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 275,126, in 58,870 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Arvandkenar District. The county has three cities: Abadan, Arvandkenar & Chavibdeh.
