Nana Falgunrao Patole (born 5 June 1963) is an Indian politician who is the current President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee from 5 February 2021. He was the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly before this appointment.
A former Member of the Parliament of India [1] (the 16th Lok Sabha),he represented the BJP. [2] He represented the Bhandara-Gondiya in Lok Sabha. [3] In 2017,he resigned from BJP and the Lok Sabha. On 11 January 2018. he rejoined Congress party. [4] [5]
In the 2014 Lok sabha elections,he contested the constituency as the BJP/NDA candidate and won. He defeated then Union minister Praful Patel by 149,254 votes. [6] He was also Member of the Legislative Assembly for Sakoli from 2009 to 2014. He fights for OBC and was the leader of the opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly [7] Patole has resigned from his Loksabha Membership by submitting his resignation letter to Loksabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajen due to BJP's double standards onfarmers policies. After then he rejoins indian national congress. Congress party selected him as a national chairman of All India Kisan Congress. [8]
Subburaman Thirunavukkarasar is an Indian politician. He was the State President of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee till 2 February 2019 and former secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) of the Indian National Congress (INC) party. His introduction to politics in 1977 was facilitated by former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,M. G. Ramachandran. Ramachandran founded the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 1972 and was facing his first elections for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election in 1977. He identified Thirunavukkarasar,a lawyer by profession,to contest the Aranthangi assembly constituency. Thirunavukkarasar won the seat,aged 27,and was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He continued in that capacity till 1980. Subsequently,he served as Tamil Nadu state minister from 1980 to 1987 in the MGR cabinet,holding portfolios that included Industries,Housing Board,Excise and Handlooms. Later,he became a member of the Lok Sabha –the lower house of the Parliament of India –when he won the erstwhile Pudukottai Lok Sabha constituency. He served as Union Minister of state for shipping and later for telecommunications and information technology.

The dynastic phenomenon is seen from national level down to district level and even village level.The three-tier structure of Panchayati Raj established in the 1960s also helped to create and consolidate the dynastic phenomenon in rural areas. Apart from government,political families also control cooperative institutions,mainly cooperative sugar factories,district cooperative banks in the state,and since the 1980s private for profit colleges. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party also features several senior leaders who are dynasts. In Maharashtra,the NCP has particularly high level of dynasticism.
