Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram has released 8 video albums and more than 40 music videos, appeared in numerous television programs and 24 television commercials. In 1997, Ajram released her debut music for the single "Oulha Kelma", produced by Future TV. [1] One year later, she signed a recording contract with EMI and released her second music video "Mihtagalak", taken from her debut studio album Mihtagalak (1998), directed by Lebanese director Elie Feghali. Like the debut album, only one music video was directed for her second album, Sheel Oyoonak Anni . Ajram generated much attention in 2003 following the release of the music video for "Akhasmak Ah", her third studio album Ya Salam's lead single, which was found controversial owing to the depiction of overtly sexual activities. [2] However, she later received praise in mid-2003 for the visual for the album's second single and title track "Ya Salam", which received a Murex d'Or Award for its positive portrayal of a star with a sad life inspired from the 1960s. The video was directed by Nadine Labaki as a second collaboration with Ajram. [3]

In 2004, Ajram released her fourth studio album Ah W Noss ; four music videos for the singles "Ah W Noss", "Lawn Ouyounak", "Oul Tani Keda" and "Inta Eyh" from the album were shot. The lead single's video was directed by Nadine Labaki and was highlighted for portraying an Egyptian villager. [4] The music video for "Oul Tani Keda", which was served as Coca-Cola campaign single, was filmed with the international Italian director Luca Tomassini, it was made of footage of backstage scenes from the commercial. [5] Ajram's 2006 studio album Ya Tabtab...Wa Dallaa was promoted by six music videos, and her 2007 studio album for children Shakhbat Shakhabit received its promotion from the medley video which features four different tracks, directed by Said El Marouk.

In 2008, Ajram released her sixth studio album Betfakkar Fi Eih , which spawned five music videos. The release of Ajram's seven album Nancy 7 (2010) was preceded by the music videos for its singles "Fi Hagat", "Sheikh El Shabab", which garnered her three awards, and "Ya Kether", which features Syrian actor Kosai Khauli as Ajram's lover. [6] In 2012, Ajram released her second studio album for children Super Nancy , accompanied by a medley music video of same name, her daughters Mila and Ella were featured in the video. [7] In 2014, Nancy 8's lead single video "Ma Tegi Hena" met with criticism and controversy for its sexual imagery, many critics compared it to her breakthrough hit, "Akhasmak Ah". [8] However, Nancy 8 spawned another four music videos.

In addition to her music videos, Ajram has released eight video albums. two DVDs Live at the Jerash Festival 2004 and Ma La Ta'arifunahu An Nancy Ajram were filmed in accompaniment with Ajram's concert in Jordan (2004) and concert tour in USA (2005). Meanwhile the other video albums The Best of Nancy Clips (2008) and Video Clips 2 (2010) were released in the Middle East featuring live performances and music videos. She has additionally appeared in several television shows, including the reality television series Arab Idol , of which three out of four seasons saw her contribution as a judge, and The Voice Kids , where she served as a coach.

Ah W Noss is the fourth studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on April 14, 2004, by Relax-In and Megastar Records. This was the follow-up project to 2003's Ya Salam. In 2003, the album launched Ajram to the heights of music, thanks to a string of Egyptian hit singles which have become part of pop culture today. The Egyptian flavoured album received a massive commercial success in Egypt, especially the Egyptian hit song "Ah W Noss". Serving as executive producer, Ajram's manager, Jiji Lamara enlisted a wide range of producers including Tarek Madkour, Jean-Marie Riachi, Tony Saba, and Adel Ayash. Recording sessions for the album began in mid 2003 and took place at several recording studios throughout Lebanon and Egypt. Musically, the album represents a continuity for her previous effort Ya Salam, which contained Egyptian bellydance songs, pop rock, ballad. The album also explores other genres, such as khaliji.

<i>Ya Salam</i> 2003 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Ya Salam is the third studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on February 24, 2003 by Relax-In and Megastar. Ajram worked with all new collaborations, including Tarek Madkour, Adel Ayesh, Samir Sfeir, Salim Salameh and Tony Saba. Described as a turning point in Ajram's career, it represents a departure from the classical sound of her previous releases, Mihtagalak (1998) and Sheel Oyounak Anni (2001). Apart from the sound, she also endorsed a new image for the release going from an innocent girl to an edgier and more sexual look.

<i>Ya Tabtab...Wa Dallaa</i> 2006 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Ya Tabtab...Wa Dallaa is the fifth studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on February 21, 2006, through Art Line Music. Ajram worked with various producers on the album, including Tarek Madkour, Hadi Sharara, Omar Abdel Aziz, Mohammed Mustafa, Karim Abdel Wahab and Bassem Rizk. Inspired by a humorous Egyptian traditional vib, Ya Tabtab was a remarkable turn in Ajram's career. Its lead single and title track was released as a response for critics who had accused Ajram of singing "with her body". She appeared in the lead single's video fully dressed as a clown, showing no skin and wearing baggy clothes.

<i>Shakhbat Shakhabit</i> 2007 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Shakhbat Shakhabit is the first children's album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on June 11, 2007 by EWE Productions. Ajram has always wanted to dedicate a work for children, and indeed, the album and video came as an important step in her career. The music was created by Egyptian composer Waleed Saad., and the video was directed by Said El Marouk after "Ehsas Jdeed"'s success with Ajram, was the biggest budget out of all of her clips. It included four songs, "Shakhbat Shakhabit", "Katkouta", "Shater", and "Eid Milad" in the credits. The production of the album created a buzz in the Arab music industry, as several producing companies fell into exclusive-rights arguments with each other for its production.

"Wavin' Flag" is a song by Somali-Canadian artist K'naan from his album Troubadour (2009). The song was originally written for Somalia and aspirations of its people for freedom. <i>Nancy 7</i> 2010 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Nancy 7 is the seventh studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on September 6, 2010, by In2Musica to wide commercial and critical success, to follow the footsteps of Ajram's previous sets. The album explores a new set of sounds and genres including Dance, Techno and R&B on one hand, but still keeps the musical style that Nancy had created over the years, that is the Egyptian and Lebanese dance-folk sound, on the other. The latter has given Nancy her biggest hits ever, including "Ah W Noss", "Ya Tabtab" and "Lawn Oyounak."

Elissar Zakaria Khoury, commonly known as Elissa, is a Lebanese singer, actress, television personality and businesswoman. Known for her romantic musical style and emotive vocal performances, she has been dubbed as the "Queen of Emotions" by fans and journalists alike. Her musical career began in 1992 when she was featured in the Lebanese talent show Studio El Fan; later being awarded the silver medal. In 1998, she released her debut studio album Baddy Doub through EMI Music Arabia. While the album was a success, the titular song’s music video initially received criticism for its racy content. Her second album W'akherta Maak (2000) featured the single "Betghib Betrouh", a duet with Ragheb Alama which achieved commercial success and won accolades.

Numerous of Ajram's singles have reached number one on several Arabic music charts, including Hit Marker and The Official Lebanese Top 20. By 2010, Ajram was announced the best-selling Middle Eastern female singer of the decade (2000–2009).

<i>Super Nancy</i> 2012 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Super Nancy is the second children's album by Lebanese recording artist Nancy Ajram. It was released on September 13, 2012 by In2Musica, Rotana and Arabica Music. Following the critical success of her debut album Shakhbat Shakhabit, which was also exclusively oriented toward kids, Ajram decided to dedicate another record to them to show appreciation for their loyalty to her. The singer worked with several past collaborators she worked with in the previous kids album, while enlisting new ones. Super Nancy was well received by music critics. Three singles, which featured in the music video, were released in September 2012 from the album: "Ya Banat", "Stoohi", and "Baousi". "Ya Banat" received more than 300 million views on YouTube so far, making it one of the most-listened Arab songs of all time.

Nancy 8 is the eighth studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on March 21, 2014, by In2Musica nearly four years after the release and international success of her seventh studio album Nancy 7. Like her previous albums, Ajram collaborated with several producers, including Tarek Madkour, Hadi Sharara and Ahmed Ibrahim, along with new collaborations with Hussam Kamil, Khaled Nabil and Muhannad Khoder. The music of 8 features R&B, ballad, pop rock and dance-pop styles in order to emphasize the singer's vocal abilities.

<i>Nancy 10</i> 2021 studio album by Nancy Ajram

Nancy 10 is the tenth studio album by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. It was released on July 10, 2021, by In2Musica, four years after its predecessor Nancy 9 (2017). Ajram started working on the album in late 2018, after the end of her tour in the United States, the "USA Tour 2018". Originally scheduled to be released during 2020, Ajram postponed the album release to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sleiman Damien is a Lebanese musician, music producer, and DJ specializing in modern Arab pop fusion. Many of his musical production collaborations topped Lebanese and regional Arab charts.

<i>Mestaniak</i> 1983 studio album by Aziza Jalal

"Mestaniak" which translates to ″Waiting for You″ in English,(Egyptian Arabic: مستنياك; also transliterated as Mestaniyak, Ana Fi Intizarak, or [إنني أنتظرك] Error: {{Transliteration}}: transliteration text not Latin script ) is a popular Egyptian song by Aziza Jalal. It was released in January 1983 by Alam El Phan Records.
